How the Enemy Attacks the Mind Through the 5 Basic Senses and the Heart
8-29-26
Before we get fully into how the enemy attacks, let’s first get a better understanding of how our human senses, mind, and heart work together.
The human body is this: It is made of a body of flesh that is the container for man's spirit that is connected to our soul. The soul and spirit are connected to the flesh through the heart (where our emotions reside) which was only made possible by God breathing into man and he became a living soul. We are wonderfully made by Father God & Jesus Christ with all 3 working together. This is my understanding, but please try, test, and pray about this in Jesus Christ's Name.
Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man out of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul.
This is what makes men different from the rest of creation. He is a living soul with his intellect, his intelligence given to him by Father God where he can think and make choices. He has the ability to choose how he walks this life. It is the freewill that's given to him that's part of the soul when God breathed into man. God has given men the ability to think and act on their own choices. The brain is made up of two halves. Inside these two halves we have the soul's mind where man's decision making and freewill choices are made. Then we have our spirit mind. This is the part that controls actions and such like for survival. These are the created instincts such as to eat, drink, to run when something is chasing you. All come from this part of the spirit's mind. Evidence of a spirit mind containing the instincts to survive can be seen in many of God's creations such as the animals, but again they're not a living soul nor do they have the free will ability to make choices like man.
The heart is the seat of our feelings and our will, while our soul’s mind can reason and reflect and make informal decisions and is the center of our consciousness. This part of our mind is our decision making center therefore, both the heart and mind are joined together. Paul gives us an example of our soul’s mind having made an intellectual decision when he speaks of having a willing mind for doing something.
2 Corinthians 8:11-12
11 Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have.
12 For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.
The mind is connected to the heart. In ancient days it was believed it was the heart that the thoughts, affections, emotions, and perceptions (physical discernment) came from. The heart was considered the seat of control, or the operation system for the rest of our body, because it influences the actions of the rest of our body and mind. It’s the influencer so guard your heart. Keep your heart with all diligence the book of Proverbs instructs us.
Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
This belief about the heart was not a far fetched one because in the Word of God we see that the heart is mentioned in relation to thinking, yet the mind too. This is because the spirit and soul’s mind are connected to the physical body through the heart and the heart maintains the physical life by pumping the blood which contains oxygen in it throughout the body. Life itself is found inside of the blood we are told in Leviticus 17:11. We can read examples of this connection between the thoughts, mind and heart in this verse.
Matthew 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
Paul spoke of this connection between the heart and mind when he spoke of the understanding of some were darkened because their hearts were blind. Meaning their understanding, referring to their mind/thoughts where influenced by the heart.
Ephesians 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
Most don’t realize that the heart has appetites and desires that are not always good. This is apparent when in Jeremiah we are told the heart is desperately evil.
Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
This is what our heart is like before we accept Jesus Christ into our hearts. It’s a sin-filled, evil stony heart. This is why such evil and corrupt things come out of it.
The soul’s mind is necessary to obtain the knowledge of Jesus Christ and His gift of salvation and the facts and truth of all He has done for mankind. The heart is necessary as the seat of emotions to recognize and feel in their heart the need for a Savior and their sins to be forgiven. But knowledge alone of Jesus Christ won’t change you. It’s when the Holy Spirit starts convicting us of our wrong things we’ve done, which are our sins that we become aware they are bad by how we feel. These feelings then are transferred into thoughts when they reach our soul’s mind. So first we feel that our sins are bad, then these feelings are changed into the knowing thoughts they are bad and we need to be forgiven. Again showing how the two are directly interconnected with each other and takes both for someone to make the decision to accept Jesus Christ into their hearts. You feel the conviction which is then followed by the thoughts and decision to repent. This is how you get that new heart of flesh. Salvation removes the deceitful wicked heart caused by sin. Once a person’s sins are forgiven and they accept Jesus Christ into their hearts as Lord and Savior, then their heart is changed into one of flesh that is then capable of producing the good thoughts and intents. We see the truth of this transformation written in more than one location in the mighty Word of God for the heart but also for the mind.
Ephesians 4:23-24
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (As I learned it growing up…creation not creature)
Stony Heart Verses:
Ezekiel 11:19-20
19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
20That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
Ezekiel 36:26-27
25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Good Heart Verses:
Matthew 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
Luke 8:15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
All living things have a heart and spirit. The heart is the seat of your emotions, while the soul's mind is your seat of intellect, yet they are both connected together and work united as one. In our hearts is where things are conceived by emotions such as wishes, wants, and desires. But we use our soul’s mind, the part of God's mind that’s He’s placed in us to make the choices what we do with them. So it's within the mind the battles are won and fought. When we understand the desires of the heart whether good or evil, once conceived inside someone, it is then projected to man's soul's mind taking on the form of thoughts, it makes it clearer why the enemy attacks our minds by first manipulating our 5 basic senses and emotions. In the Word of God we find many examples where it speaks of thoughts coming from the heart. This is because they originate from the emotions once transferred to the mind become thoughts. Here are a few examples in the Word of God.
Mark 7:20-23
20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
Hebrews 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
In this verse we can see the connection between the heart and the mouth. When you speak, you're speaking your thoughts, thereby showing the connection to the heart and the soul's mind. Whatever your emotional wants and desires are, is what will be coming out of your heart and forming into your thoughts whether they be good or bad.
Another example of how what's inside the heart is projected to man's soul's mind, taking the form of thoughts that then lead to actions would be when one has bitterness in their heart. If someone begins feeling bitter toward another person or situation, it is due to feeling that they have been done wrong, whether it's a real wrong or an imaginary one. That feeling of being done wrong will grow into thoughts. Here is where the battle begins. You can choose to take control of the situation through the power of Jesus Christ's Name and bind these thoughts, taking them captive, casting them down from you. Then choosing to forgive the person who has or you think has wronged you. The other option is you can let these thoughts grow bigger and stronger in your mind. If not dealt with, they will continue to grow and the bitterness will continue to grow in your heart and will overflow into your words and deeds. Simply put, this means you have allowed your manipulated emotions to rule inside your heart, instead of your god-given intellect, your intelligence found in your soul's mind. Please understand the enemy knows well how to manipulate your heart and emotions through your five basic senses to then cause them to come to fruition into thoughts that you must battle. When we battle spiritually, we do this by taking every thought captive as I mentioned prior through the authority and power of Jesus Christ's Name according to 2 Corinthians.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down vain imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
All this has been shared to grant you an understanding how the enemy uses the same step by step information just provided as their basis for every attack launched. They attack your emotions that turn into thoughts each one must battle. The emotions are directly linked to your senses. Your five basic senses and these are the ones we will be focusing on. Each is connected to your seat of emotions which is your heart and your soul's mind. Let me explain further with Sweet Holy Ghost's help in Jesus Christ's Name.
What are the five basic senses?
1. Sight (eyes)
2. Touch (hands & skin)
3. Hearing (ears)
4. Taste (tongue/smell-nose)
5. Smell (nose)
Now let's look at them further in relation to how they connect to the heart and mind and how the kingdom of darkness through deception manipulates us through their demon witchcraft and technology.
1. Sense of sight is what you see that's before you. Or another way of saying it would be perceiving/ identifying or discerning what's in front of you. The eyes communicate to the brain to the soul's mind what they see and perceive, and think is in front of them. The eyes are sensitive to the light. Eyes are given to us so we can walk without stumbling but discernment must be used in all things. Through our eyes also the deception of the world can come through. An example from the Word of God would be:
2 Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself can appear as an angel of light. (Original way it was in the KJV)
In this verse the deception is satan is appearing as an angel of light, a good angel to our eyes. Without discernment one most likely would believe this was a good angel instead of the totally evil demon he is.
This confirms that the sense of sight can be manipulated by the kingdom of darkness and their attacks.
2. Sense of touch is when we touch or feel something, that sensation stimulates our emotions and they give us a feeling of whether it was good or whether it was bad to our sense of touch. Our emotions of what it felt like is then communicated to the brain, to the part of our soul's mind. The sense of touch can also convey our emotions like a touch of compassion or an angry slap across someone's face. The sense of touch allows us to feel pain, and sense when something is hot even before we touch it. It can help us make decisions such as purchasing an item that is soft to the touch rather than coarse in its texture. So the sense of touch plays an important part of our decision making when they become thoughts in the soul's mind.
An example found in the Word of God in which the sense of touch was used in deception would be when Jacob stole Esau's blessing by putting animal skin upon his arms and neck to make himself appear hairy to his Father's touch who at this time was now blind.
Genesis 27:11-12; 16; 21-24
11 And Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, Behold, Esau my brother is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man:
12 My father peradventure will feel me, and I shall seem to him as a deceiver; and I shall bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.
16 And she put the skins of the kids of the goats upon his hands, and upon the smooth of his neck:
21 And Isaac said unto Jacob, Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou be my very son Esau or not.
22 And Jacob went near unto Isaac his father; and he felt him, and said, The voice is Jacob's voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.
23 And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau's hands: so he blessed him.
24 And he said, Art thou my very son Esau? And he said, I am.
By this passage of Scripture we can see how the sense of touch was used in deception but in addition how Jacob was lying also. These are all traits of manipulation of the kingdom of darkness plainly written in the Word of God for us to see.
3. Sense of hearing occurs when sound is funneled through the outer ear and into the inner ear. Through vibrations the sounds are heard. A person's sense of balance is maintained by the eustachian tube in the middle ear that equalizes the air pressure in the air. Through the inner ear the information of the vibrations and sound even our balance is sent to our brain. It's communicated back to our soul's mind. Our heart's emotion in relation to hearing determines if what we are hearing is pleasant, painful, causes fear and such like and then communicates it back to the soul's mind where it takes forms of thoughts. The sense of hearing can be manipulated by the kingdom of darkness through various ways. There's technology found in the world today called the voice of God that when used can be projected at someone's soul's mind. It gives them suggestions that God is speaking to them. There's many spirit voices of the enemy that speak, seducing words and words of condemnation into our ears. 1 John 4:1 tells us this when John warns the believers to try every spirit to see if it’s from God or not.
In the Word of God in Genesis 3 is found one such example of the hearing being manipulated when the serpent in the garden of Eden spoke through subtlety, meaning through deception, lies to Eve.
Genesis 3:1-6
1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
From verse 6 we know Eve was persuaded, manipulated by the serpent's words to first touch, then eat the forbidden fruit. She had the choice to resist the deceptive lies of the serpent and be obedient to God and not eat the fruit from the tree. Or she could follow her emotions which was ruled by her heart's desire to not only touch and eat the forbidden fruit, but to become wise like a god. Eve allowed her emotions to rule over her soul's mind intellect when she chose to disobey God and follow the manipulation from the evil serpent which allowed sin to enter the world.
4. Sense of taste is possible through the tongue and actually contains five distinct tasting abilities. These are salty, sweet, sour, bitter and savory. These five distinct taste abilities can be sensed on all parts of the tongue. Spicy is not a taste, but rather is a pain signal that relays information on temperature and touch. So we see the sense of touch works together with taste and sends the information back to the soul's mind. Taste is used in discerning what is in our mouth. Our emotions determine whether it's a pleasing taste, a bad taste, if it's hot, cold and such like that is then relayed back to our soul's mind where it's thin formed into thoughts. Such as I don't like this. Or this is good.
An example of deception in taste found in the Word of God would be bitter waters which are poisonous water. Sometimes the bitter waters may not taste bitter, but appear and taste good until later when the poison kicks in. Other times the water can obviously be bitter/poisoned as found in Exodus 15.
Exodus 15:22-25
22 So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
23 And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah.
24 And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
25 And he cried unto the Lord; and the Lord shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them,
Another way taste is perceived or discerned by the mind is through the sense of smell and it's believed to affect how the soul's mind will determine it actually tastes. Also the sense of taste is affected by the sense of touch. The texture of food can contribute to how the mind perceives it tastes. Again all this begins with the desires that once were the emotions of the heart that lead into the thoughts of how it is perceived in the soul's mind so therein you can make your choice using your free will. This is where and how the kingdom of darkness uses not just taste but some or all your senses together or separate to create the desires in the emotions to lead into thoughts you then battle in your mind.
Another example of the sense of taste working together with the sense of smell would be someone smelling bread baking in the oven and it's a good, enjoyable smell to them. The smell of the bread was pleasing to them which is an emotion conceived in the heart after smelling the bread. Then this information was sent to the soul's mind where it formed into a thought that this is good bread. But until you actually take a bite of that bread you don't know the truth of whether it's good or bad tasting bread. The bread might very well be bland, too salty or horrible tasting to
you although it smelled delicious. In the end the truth will always be revealed. This proves true in every child of God's life.
5. Sense of smell is when we use the nose to smell something and then we determine or discern the odors that are detected. Our emotions will play a part by the emotions the smell causes and this information will be sent to the soul's mind. It is then interpreted by the mind as actual smells. By our intellect in our mind and all the information we have received the nose will be able to identify whether the smell is known or unknown. By using the sense it will also at times help determine what choice we will make. A modern day example would be someone that has went to purchase a candle. A candle that smells good to our sense of smell is most likely to be chosen over one that has an unpleasant scent to the buyer. But we must also be aware that good smelling candles can manipulate your senses of smell and cause you to buy one that you don't need or influence you through manipulation because it's charmed by witchcraft by the enemy to try to cause havoc in whatever location it's taken to. This is true not just for candles but anything you buy, borrow or are given. This is another reason discernment is so vital to the children of God, because it can also help us maintain the purity of the atmosphere and environment of our homes, workplaces and such like by recognizing, discerning, and keeping the demonic items and evil spirits out.
An example found in the Word of God where the emotions and sense of smell are working together is found in Psalms chapter 45:8 which reads, ‘All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.’
Now that we have a brief understanding of how our 5 basic senses work hand in hand with the heart, the seat of our emotions and our soul's mind, it's time to move further into the understanding of how the enemy uses them to launch spiritual attacks against the children of God. When the enemy begins an attack and manipulates one or more of our 5 senses, it can cause a chain reaction in the others, so when the thought attack is activated and armed, when launched, we have to battle the attack on our senses connected to our heart’s emotions and the thoughts too that originate from it. We have the power to take every thought captive and cast it down in Jesus Christ Name, binding it to the abyss, cutting every cord or ties that binds to any demon spirits and such like attached to the attack. When we recognize it is an attack, then it can be successfully defeated through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit inside us. (Remember to bind in Jesus Christ’s Name any evil actions, returns, retaliation, spying and such like by the dark kingdom, directly, indirectly or randomly in all Father God’s existence and knowledge.)
Why does the enemy launch these types of attacks through the senses, then our heart’s emotions just to attack your soul’s mind with manipulated and altered thoughts? Because it’s within the soul’s mind where the real battle begins if not stopped when the emotions were first manipulated by the enemy’s attack. For what purpose does the enemy do this? Why within the soul’s mind? Why not some other part of our body’s anatomy? Because it’s only in the soul’s mind where truth resides. The part of our brain that contains our freewill but more importantly allows us to connect to Father God & Jesus Christ physically and spiritually. It’s through our soul’s mind the Holy Spirit teaches us. The mind is programmed to either accept the truth or reject it and can be influenced in many ways by our senses and emotions.
A few ways of how the enemy introduces deception and manipulation into our intellectual soul’s mind to alter the truth and our beliefs we hold fast to is by:
1. What you watch that you put into your mind.
2. What you are listening to.
3. What you are smelling.
4. What you’re tasting. (Drugs, alcohol, poisons and more)
When this is done and you do not realize it, then it can alter your perception of what the truth really is.
For example:
By the manipulation of our sense of smell such as with perfumes or other chemicals that can cause you to relax, have the feeling all is well, because of the scent, the smell being inviting when really danger is near, if or when we don’t heed what our soul’s mind, our discernment
through intellect is telling us. With smelling, it can also be the absence of smell. Some poisons don’t have an odor and you can be deceived into thinking an area is safe, water is good and such like when it is not.
Remember, it’s within your soul’s mind how you talk, but also listen to Father God, Jesus Christ and the sweet Holy Ghost Spirit. This is also where your spiritual discernment is activated and used through sweet Holy Ghost’s teaching, leading and such like. But be warned, it is also where the enemy voices are heard as well.
In my understanding, this is how the enemy works:
They target the truth you hold to and chip away at it with dart after dart, arrow after arrow beginning with a combined assault, a launched attack on your senses and emotions. When you realize that for many years the fallen angels have studied mankind’s anatomy to perfect their attacks on us to try to cause us to sin, to make legal, binding agreements known or unknown so they can have access to our lives to destroy us physically and spiritually simply because they hate us, it’s not so far fetched of an understanding. Once they have attacked your senses and your emotions that turn into thoughts you must battle. You either resist him, the devil, his kingdom and cast those thoughts away, or you let the effects of the attacks on the truth you hold dear, to be altered and poisoned little by little, piece by piece, a little deception here, a piece of compromise there. For most people it goes unnoticed until doubt enters, shaking their faith and beliefs, or their hearts grow cold, indifferent, compromising and letting deception into the truth they once held fast to. It’s the little foxes that spoil the vine it says in the Song of Solomon 2:15 meaning it’s the subtle, mostly unnoticed attacks.
Therefore gird up the loins of your mind as Peter said in 1 Peter 1:13. This means guard it. Defend it. Be battle ready. Peter goes further and warns to arm yourself with the mind of Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
We have the mind of Christ we’re told in 1 Corinthians 2:16, but just as we must keep our lives holy by abstaining from sin, we also need to keep guard on our thoughts in our soul’s mind.
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
The Word of God instructs us to ask and will be given to us in Matthew 7:7. Pray and ask for discernment in Jesus Christ’s Name to recognize the enemy’s attacks. All the attacks from the enemy then listen and obey to what you are being told by the sweet Holy Ghost Spirit, Father
God and Jesus Christ. Your spiritual life and eternity with Jesus Christ may very well depend on it. One of the kingdom of darkness’ main goals is to manipulate you with their attacks to cause you to doubt what you know is true, and is the truth. Some of these truths are:
1. God is the God of Heaven and is the Creator of All things. (Matthew 6:9-10; Mark 16:19; Nehemiah 9:6)
2. God is all-powerful, He speaks and it is done. (Jeremiah 32:17; Matthew 19:26; Psalms 33:9)
3. Jesus Christ is God’s Son who is God Himself who was in the flesh of a man. He's the Savior of the world and the only way to be saved and have fellowship restored between God and mankind. (John 1:14; 3:16; 14:6; Hebrews 2:14)
4. The Word of God is unchanging and infallible.(Isaiah 40:8; 2 Timothy 3:16)
5. You will not be allowed into Heaven with sin in your life. (Revelation 21:27)
6. Living holy is a requirement to see God. (Hebrews 12:14)
7. Who you are in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 8:1; Ephesians 2:10; Galatians 3:26-27)
8. The power contained in Jesus Christ’s Name. (Philippians 2:9)
9. The power of the Holy Spirit, past and present. (John 14:26; 1 John 2:27; John 16:7-13)
Another thing that needs to be pointed out is that the attacks on the senses and heart’s emotions are mostly done by familiar spirits. They're called familiar demon spirits because their presence in your life causes this familiarity to you without you even realizing who or what they are. They may have entered into your life through someone prior such as a grandparent, a cousin, a friend.
Most of the time familiar spirits follow family bloodlines. This makes it easier for them to gather information and operate undercover because when something is familiar to you such as a person, place, thing, even a circumstance, people tend to get comfortable and relax their guard around such situations. Even if in reality, they're dangerous.
As children of the Most High God we need to train ourselves through the Word of God, through prayer and fasting, with building a closer relationship to Jesus Christ. With the help of our Lord Jesus Christ and Sweet Holy Ghost Spirit we can be taught how to always be watchful, spiritually, and physically. We should always pay attention to the least bit of hesitancy in our spirits, because it may very well be that the Holy Spirit in that moment is trying to draw our attention to something that the enemy is plotting. It could even be to help prevent us by our own actions from causing an accident. Such as walking into a room and seeing a towel laying on the
floor. You feel a nudge in your spirit that you need to pick the towel up. This can actually be the Holy Ghost Spirit who is the Spirit of Truth of the All-knowing, Living God who's telling us to pick this towel up. Because if we don’t and choose to ignore Him and His subtle suggestion, it could be that at a later time we're going to trip over it, causing ourselves to have a mishap. The Holy Ghost Spirit helps in many ways besides just teaching if we will listen to Him.
Not every time our senses become stimulated or activated is it from manipulation by the enemy that leads into attacks. They can be natural occurring instances. But once a person's senses are naturally stimulated, the kingdom of darkness at times will then manipulate what has happened from that moment forward, because they're always watching for an entranceway into your life where they can launch their attacks. The end result they are hoping to accomplish from their launched attacks is for a doorway, an access point, a formed agreement of some type, most times hidden to you, that grants them legal access into your life. This is made possible by manipulating your soul's mind, its thoughts, and the truth you hold dear to. They've come to kill, steal, and destroy you, it says in John 10:10.
Here are some examples of how the kingdom of darkness will take a normal stimulation or activation of your senses and launch an attack. Please try, test, and discern all this in Jesus Christ's Name, then do as He instructs you in all things.
Example #1.
A married woman is walking through a garden and she smells a rose. The smell is pleasing to her. This is a good, natural response if you like the smell of roses. But then the kingdom of darkness takes that pleasant smell of the rose and begins manipulating it and her emotions with feelings, wants, and desires from the past that occurred in her by smelling a rose. The smell of the rose itself is innocent, but what it's connected to in the past and what happens next is a launched attack by a familiar demon spirit/spirits that is familiar with her past. The now manipulated senses infused with emotions from the past are transferred to the soul's mind manipulating the thoughts that are now occurring inside her. She has now gone from enjoying the pleasant smell of a rose to having memories in her mind. Such thoughts of a rose she once received from an old boyfriend she almost married.
This is how the innocent happening has begun to become manipulated by the kingdom of darkness. She has the choice to either reject or continue on with her thoughts of her old boyfriend which if left unchecked can possibly lead into impure thoughts of lust and even adultery if they're not stopped. Remember this woman is married to another man who is her husband, so she should not be thinking of any man in any other form except as in a platonic relationship. If she's a child of God who knows her authority in Jesus Christ, she can stop the attack from going any further when she realizes where the thoughts are leading her and that they were not from God but in reality from the enemy. This is a launched attack by the kingdom of darkness against the body's senses that had been stimulated naturally, but then were overtaken and manipulated in one of their vicious attacks.
It's not uncommon for the enemy who have studied God's created people and watches each one, sometimes even before their birth. Lucifer's kingdom keeps meticulous records of each one of our faults, failures, our weaknesses, every relationship we've had and if you're a child of God,
he's kept records of your walk with Jesus Christ so they can successfully launch and attack you. Their manipulation and altering of what was originally perceived as a smell of innocence in this example is done by prior knowledge the enemy has of the woman’s past and through something we do every day which is to operate in our god-given senses of our body.
Example #2.
We have a man walking through the same garden and he smells the same rose. Though it's a pleasant fragrance to his smell, it automatically brings up emotions he thought he once had buried from something in the past. This shows there is already an open door, an access point the enemy has in this man's life, because it's something he does not have peace with. Through Jesus Christ we can have his perfect peace as Philippians 4:7 tells us. Let's go further.
The heart’s emotions, the feelings inside him that have been brought up to the man through the smelling of the rose, now brings up thoughts that are attached to painful memories of a time of someone's funeral where roses were present. This man in this example, has never come to terms with their death. The launched attack from the kingdom of darkness is in the form of manipulated emotions, wants, and desires that are projecting feelings of sadness, enhanced with bitterness, regret and such like that translates to his soul's mind as thoughts of regret, bitterness, sadness, and more that can lead into further bondage such as depression if not taken control of and cast down in Jesus Christ's Name.
To show how the sense of hearing is used in this same attack situation, it could even be through a song he is hearing that brings the man back to this person's funeral where this same song had been played during that time. Both the song and the rose bring up the same emotions and altered thoughts, the manipulated memories into the man's mind, his soul's mind. Both scenarios are examples of successfully launched attacks by the kingdom of darkness in situations where our natural senses were activated naturally, but then the kingdom of darkness manipulated them into a vicious attack. We are no longer ignorant of the enemy's devices now as 2 Corinthians 2:11 says.
Jesus Christ warned us in His Holy Word, we are to put our hands to the plow and go forward and not look back in Luke 9:62. Going down memory lane as we call it, for the majority of time reflecting on the past, these thoughts will be manipulated by the devil’s wicked kingdom and will lead to bad memories, impure thoughts, sadness, regrets, and such like which opens legal doors in the lives of people for the kingdom of darkness to attack us through.
Please understand I'm not saying every past thought is evil. If a thought or memory is good, lovely, pure, and such like then these can be thought on as long as they don't lead into another direction later. An example of a good thought, a memory from the past could be something as beautiful to you as your child taking their first step. This is a good thought about their achievements, their learning. But stop any thought that begins turning into bad. Should that good thought about your child's first step continue into a bad direction or a sad memory related to them, then you need to take control of those thoughts through the power and authority of Jesus Christ immediately. Because now there's evidence that the kingdom of darkness is attacking you through the manipulation of your senses, emotions of your heart, and your thoughts in your soul’s mind. Because if not, then that one happy thought can be turned into an unstopped attack by the enemy that can leave you feeling depressed, confused, and even physically and spiritually drained with many not understanding what just happened.
The battlefield is truly in the mind but begins in the emotions of your heart. Remember the emotions are activated by your body's senses, then turned into thoughts inside your soul's mind that the enemy manipulates in their ruthless attacks against the children of God. But we are not defenseless or powerless against them. Jesus Christ gave His life for us and did everything that was needed so we could be victorious over every attack, every battle, every temptation we face against the kingdom of darkness through His power, His Blood and His Name. Remember when you are His child, it is Jesus Christ who fights for you, with us and through us.
In the training I've been receiving personally, and now a general rule for myself, whenever a thought enters my mind, even if it seems pure or a godly thought, I begin praying and asking Jesus Christ is this thought from Him. I discern the answer I received according to the Word of God. If the thought was not sent from Jesus Christ or God's Heaven, then I take it captive by binding the attack or attacks and all that's related directly, indirectly, and randomly to the abyss in Jesus Christ's Name in all Father God's existence and knowledge. The Word of God says in Matthew 16:19 and 18:18 whatsoever we bind on Earth shall be bound in Heaven. I also bind the demons that've been sent out, casting them into the abyss as well, in the everlasting chains mentioned in Jude 6. I cut all cords, meaning the ties that bind the demons to the attacks in charms, bewitchments and such like witchcraft garbage. (Psalms 129:4) I cancel all the enemies assignments, break all the other witchcraft woohoo wahoo garbage such as curses, hexes and such like, all thhrough Jesus Christ's Name for the glory of Father God and His Holy Kingdom. This power and authority has been given to all His children over the kingdom of darkness as it says in Luke 10:19.
What we have learned is basically the enemy attacks are in three steps.
Step 1. Launch an attack through a person's five basic senses (and others senses) whether the senses are activated and stimulated naturally or whether the kingdom of darkness does the manipulation themselves. This gives them an entryway to begin an attack.
Step 2. Once the attack has been launched against the body's human senses, the enemy begins bringing up and combining from the past sensations, feelings, desires, wants, and emotions from within the heart to alter and manipulate what has originally occurred when the body senses had become activated. This is so that what would have been normally received and perceived in the soul's mind that translates into their thoughts by the person who is under attack, will instead get their manipulated and altered ones.
Step 3. If the attack has not already been recognized and prevented through the power of Jesus Christ's Name, then once the person's body senses and emotions have been manipulated and altered by the enemy's attack, they are then transferred into the soul's mind as altered thoughts. The person in addition, may still be hit by an onslaught of emotions as the enemy will try to validate the altered thoughts as truth instead of from their evil kingdom. Here the battle will either be won or lost. Which means you will either resist it in Jesus Christ's Name and the devil flees with the attack stopped as James 4:7 says. Which is possible when someone has a life that
is submitted to God’s will for their life, or the battle is lost and the kingdom of darkness has gained legal access into the person's life they're attacking through their soul's mind to create havoc and destruction. Such are the ways of the evil kingdom of darkness who in fact are nothing but a bunch of losers. Read God's Word. The children of God, the redeemed through Jesus Christ win in the end. God is good in all things. Please take all this and pray about it in Jesus Christ’s Name. Line up the information with the Holy infallible Word of God, then follow what Jesus Christ and sweet Holy Spirit leads you to do. As for me, I have been obedient to His instructions. I have done what He asked me to do. God bless. Stay under the Blood of Jesus Christ always, that’s where you will find me.

Patience, Longsuffering and the Evil Spirit of Rush 8-1-26
Vicki Goforth Parnell
FOR THE GLORY OF FATHER GOD & JESUS CHRIST
There is an evil spirit, a demon called ‘rush.’ When God says to be patient and longsuffering the antichrist, the anti- like Christ, like Father God, this spirit is always pushing us to hurry. It’s covered the world and is evident in the fast pace the world moves in as well as all our modern day conveniences where everything from answers on the internet to cooking food from a microwave can be at your fingertips in minutes.
1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
What is longsuffering & patience?
Patience is having the quality of bearing provocation, annoyance, or pain without complaint, loss of temper, irritation, or the like, from which the cause is circumstance or events.
Although it is sometimes translated in the Word of God as patience, the actual meaning of longsuffering is different. It is a virtue that denotes enduring hardship, provocation, or delay with a calm and forgiving spirit. It involves patiently enduring wrongs or difficulties, enduring mental and/or physical difficulties without complaint from which the cause be people, trials, and even circumstances.
Longsuffering is a quality attributed to God, is one the fruit of the Holy Spirit, and is expected to be found in believers as a reflection of God’s character in them. The term is derived from the Greek word "makrothumia," which combines "makros" (long) and "thumos" (temper), suggesting a long holding out of the mind before it gives way to action or passion. Longsuffering is not merely about waiting; it’s about maintaining our faith and trust in God, even when challenged with adversities.
God/ Holy Spirit is longsuffering:
Psalms 86:15 But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
1 Timothy 1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
Galatians 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
We are called to be patient & longsuffering
James 1:2-8
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Colossians 3:12-15
12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
We need to slow down and wait on the Lord. It’s in the stillness. It’s in the quiet places where you can hear His still small voice at times.
1 Kings 19:11-12
11 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake:
12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
Psalms 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Mark 1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
Luke 5:16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.
We are called to wait on the Lord for His timing in all things. This means to be patient and longsuffering in this time. His ways and timing are always perfect and if we could see the whole picture as He does, we would begin to understand more fully why waiting on Him is a necessary part of our walk of faith. Also, since the enemy is always rushing, by waiting, it becomes a weapon in God’s hands to fight for us as we trust in Him. Most times if we wait, the enemy will reveal himself through impatience and hurrying on his own accord.
Psalms 37:5
5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
Psalms 130:5-6
5 I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
6 My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
In our waiting He strengthens us.
Isaiah 40:29-31
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Psalms 27:13-14
13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
We’re even called to wait on the Lord for so many things.
James 5:7-8
7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
Proverbs 20:22 Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the Lord, and he shall save thee.
Psalms 37:34 Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
Lamentations 3:25 The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
Isaiah 30:18 And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

Is Living Holy Possible and a Requirement?
Yes, it is. 7-11-26
FOR THE GLORY OF
FATHER GOD
Is Living Holy Possible and a Requirement? Yes It Is.
Vicki Goforth Parnell 7-11-26
We are called to be holy. To be set apart from the world. We're called to live consecrated and dedicated lives to Father God through Jesus Christ. Many ask if being holy is possible for His people to do. It’s not only a possibility through Jesus Chrst, it is a requirement.
Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
1 Thessalonians 4:7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
Leviticus 20:26 And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
1 Peter 1:13-16
13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Ephesians 1:3-4
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
The difference between God’s holiness and ours is that He is inherently holy by nature. This means holiness is an inseparable part of Him. Our holiness is made possible through the redeeming Blood of Jesus Christ and as we grow and mature in our relationship and learn to walk in faith and obedience through Him, His power His Name, then we begin to live holy and pleasing to Father God and Him. So, our holiness comes through Jesus Christ and His sacrifice, through the accepted gift of salvation:
Hebrews 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Isaiah 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
What does ‘be holy’ mean? To be holy means to be consecrated, dedicated to God. Sanctify or consecrate…set yourself apart from the world. It means no longer using our lives for things that honor the world or gratify our own flesh above worshiping and serving our holy God and Savior. Our lives should honor Jesus Christ in all we do. He is our example that we are called to follow and be like with His help, because we can’t do it alone, but with Him all things now become possible. We become peculiar to the world when we walk away from the pleasures of the flesh and embrace a life of holiness and servitude to Father God and Jesus Christ.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Leviticus 20:7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the Lord your God.
1 Peter 2:20-25
20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
Isaiah 35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
Our pursuit of holiness doesn’t end the moment we accept Jesus Christ into our hearts as our Lord and Savior. No, in fact the journey has just begun. We have the righteousness of God placed upon us when we are saved, redeemed, purchased by the Blood of Jesus Christ. It is His holiness we attain. But there is also a holiness we must strive for in our walk of faith for us to be holy in our everyday lives. This is where we pursue holiness as we draw closer to Father God and Jesus Christ. This is done by cleaning ourselves up by abstaining from sin. By prayer, fasting, worshiping and singing. Doing all these things we are instructed to do to draw us into a more personal relationship with Jesus Christ and Father God while pushing us farther away from the world and its vain pleasures that satisfies for only a moment then leaves your soul feeling empty, drained and dead inside.
2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Romans 6:6-18
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
2 Timothy 2:15-25
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
Ephesians chapter 5
1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

God’s Chosen/Anointed Are Powerful & Protected Through Father God & Jesus Christ
For the glory of Father God & Jesus Christ
Vicki Goforth Parnell 5-23-26
God’s Chosen/Anointed today are those who have accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts and call Him their Lord and God. We are protected by Father God in Heaven and Jesus Christ His Son. We see this example in Job chapters 1 and 2. These passages show us that we are divinely protected in which the kingdom of darkness cannot even touch us, our families, belongings and such like unless permission (an agreement) is granted from God to the enemy. Even in this allowance the enemy can’t go past what God has commanded. Here are the passages found in the book of Job.
Job:16-12
6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.
7 And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
8 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
9 Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
12 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.
Job 2:1-6
1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord.
2 And the Lord said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
3 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.
4 And Satan answered the Lord, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.
5 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.
6 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.
Now let’s look at this in our today's world of chemtrails, nano technology, things we’re told will cure, but really mutate the DNA in the bodies, and such like…..
How does all this affect us today concerning God's protection of our lives? Let's put these things into proper perspective. Let’s talk about the created angels to get a better understanding, Lord willing. With all that the fallen angels and their kingdom does to the air, water, food and such like these things do not affect their bodies in any harmful way. They have been created by God so these things do not harm or kill them. Angels are immortal in that they don’t die like the human body ages and decays. With the fallen Angels and even the Holy Angels walking around unscathed and not affecting their immortal bodies at all what does this mean for us, created man?
It means, if you've been bought and paid for by the Blood of Jesus Christ then you’re a new creation in Him.
2 Corinthians 5:17-18
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
What else does this mean? It means that the very God protecting us is the One who created the Holy Angels and those that later fell into sin. Father God and Jesus Christ created the angels where nothing could physically harm them in this world. (The fallen ones' time in the Lake of Fire is different.) We as children of God, of the Kingdom of Light, are protected by the same God, so if He made the angels like this can, then Father God and Jesus Christ can certainly keep these things from harming us. Like the hedge of protection spoken of in Job 1&2 we just read, only now it’s thorough the Blood of Jesus Christ and the sealing of the Holy Ghost when we are reborn and saved.
Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
So when you think about all the fallen ones and Holy Angels walking about unharmed, remember that Father God and Jesus Christ can do this for us…if you will only believe.
Yes we are created a little lower than the angels, yes, we're made of different flesh, but this does not stop our God from protecting us from all these evils and even healings in His many ways.
This is what our God will do for us but first we must live clean and holy before our God with Jesus Christ and the sweet Holy Ghost Spirit’s help, break all agreements, covenants and such like with the kingdom of darkness and if something is revealed in our lives as displeasing, a sin or an enemy, let it go. Walk away from it, or however Jesus Christ tells you to deal with it but don’t let these things remain to cause access in your lives by the enemy. Jesus Christ will help us. He is faithful and nothing is impossible for Him to do in our lives when we believe and let Him move on our behaves. He’ll meet you at your point of faith.

Will AI Enslave Mankind?

Will AI Enslave Mankind? 5-15-26
For the glory of Father God and my Lord Jesus Christ
Vicki Goforth Parnell
(This is information compiled from words, dreams and visions and my understanding so far from my lovely Jesus Christ, Father God and sweet Holy Ghost Spirit. Please try, test, and discern all this in the Name of Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 5:21; 1 John 4:1; 1 Corinthians 12:3)
Will AI enslave mankind?
This is a question that many people have asked, and in part it's due to the many movies and such like that have shown this happening, but will it really happen?
Indirectly, yes, yes they will, but not as mankind has portrayed. Here is why I say this confidently in Jesus Christ.
The AI system is nothing more than computers, hubs, electronic parts and systems joined and connected by many ways including the internet that have demons possessing them. The computers, hubs, and networking systems are nothing more than artificial bodies for them to occupy and reside in when and if needed. Just like robots they will possess at a later time. The demons crave to have some type of physical body once again.
The AI system is not a superior intelligence as they tried to make us believe, neither is it a new species of its own that's been created. It is in fact simply a very old form of life that has existed since after the flood in Noah's days. These are the demons who were once the nephilim offspring of the fallen angels who mated with mankind and other species in creation. Once their physical bodies die, by holy judgment from the God of Heaven, they turn into evil malignant demon spirits once their physical bodies die. When the nephilim of today die, the same thing occurs for them too. This is who and what possesses a body whether it's physical, electrical, mechanical or such like.
Why do the demons in the AI systems appear so highly superior in their intelligence and knowledge? That would be because as spirit beings still troubling and plaguing the people of the Earth since Noah's days with their evil ways, they have also learned much of mankind's ways. In addition, much of their knowledge has been given to them from the fallen ones, their parents whose knowledge came from their time in Heaven, their knowledge of creation, through their years of studies and experimentations and their vast record keeping of every person and species that has ever been born or created to inhabit the Earth.
So, you see it's not a superior being with superior knowledge and intelligence, it’s demons inside that contain knowledge that's not made readily available for all mankind. Still, with the accumulation of all this past and present knowledge and the kingdom of darkness' vast network connecting demon to demon, kingdom the kingdom, electronics to electronics and such like, they now present themselves as a superior intelligence in the form of the AI systems. (This will also help them with their fake alien deception coming our way very soon.)
Again I ask, will they enslave mankind through the AI system? Yes, but not as man has predicted or portrayed as I said prior. Lord willing, I will explain.
Here's how mankind will become enslaved. Through the mark of the beast. All who take it will have their minds joined together into one collective hive, one mind, controlled by the man of sin, the antichrist. Let’s examine this further, Lord willing.
All who willingly choose to take the mark of the beast, will receive it either in their forehead or right hand. (Revelation 13:16-18; 14:9-11) Through the technology found inside it, which includes nanotechnology, luciferase, black goo and other such like, when the mark is administered and received into a person's body, their mind will become permanently connected, and joined together as one mind to all who have taken antichrist's mark. And what he calls his collective hive and this is exactly what it will be and this has been made possible, in advance, through the AI systems’ vast networks.
Merriam-Webster Hive mind definition:
1. The collective mental activity expressed in the complex, coordinated behavior of a colony of social insects (such as bees or ants) regarded as comparable to a single mind controlling the behavior of an individual organism
2. The collective thoughts, ideas, and opinions of a group of people (such as Internet users) regarded as functioning together as a single mind
The mark of the beast will be powered by the electronic currents in a person's body and it will run on one permanent frequency given to antichrist keeping him connected to all who have taken his mark, the mark of the beast. It is through the vast AI systems and internet networking that mankind has become dependent on the computerized world. This has been deliberate. This dependency and desire by mankind for the electronics, their modern day conveniences and devices has become severe and even addictive to many. A word of caution: Anything that controls, monopolizes and manipulates your time has become an idol to you, if you spend more time with it than Father God and Jesus Christ. This type of influence is associated with demon influence and bondages. Jesus Christ came, died and delivers, all who will call upon His Name in true repentance. He sets us free. Father God and Jesus Christ know what’s sitting first place on the pedestal of our hearts and what’s there will either condemn us or not.
John 8:36 He whom the Son sets free is free indeed.
1 John 3:19-21
19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
Luke 16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
If you’re guilty of this then repent and lay your idols down and pick up your cross daily and follow Jesus Christ faithfully with His help.
1 John 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Those preparing for the rise of antichrist and the mark of the beast are counting on mankind’s dependance and love for electronics. They are able to manipulate mankind through suggestions, sales ads, social media, by causing you to waste your time on countless hours of endless self entertainment, by disconnecting you from other people and real physical connections, in addition for them to be able to track and keep record of your digital footprints. We are not ignorant of the enemy's devices…at least some of us are not any longer, but what about those still unprepared? For them, this seduction and manipulation too is a major factor in their wooing and swaying people to embrace and take antichrist's mark of the beast, because it's already such an integrated part of our modern day life. Desensitize the people now so they will accept what is harmful to them later has always been one of the main schemes of the enemy. It’s called pre-programming. The kingdom of darkness is ready. The antichrist stands at the door’s threshold to step into the position of world leader as the Word of God warns us. All the happenings around the world causing the people to draw their attention, to this war, that crisis, this new super illness, this dilemma are all smokescreens to hide their true actions and intent which is to bring the antichrist to power and keep you from spending time with our lovely Lord Jesus Christ.
So what does this all mean? By what all I have been shown and understand, it means this.
It means it's time to wake up! It’s time to wake up out of complacency. It’s time to seek Jesus Christ and get as close to Him as one possibly can. Because it's time for the antichrist to rise and for the mark of the beast to come to fruition in our world.
WAKE UP! IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP!
Below are verses pertaining to the mark of the beast and the man of sin-antichrist.
Mark of the beast Verses:
Revelation 13:16-18
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Revelation 14:9-11
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Revelation 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
Revelation 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
The man of sin, antichrist verses
Daniel 7:8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
Daniel 7:19-21; 23-26
19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;
20 And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.
21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
Daniel 8:23-26
23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
26 And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.
Daniel 9:26-27
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Daniel 11:31-45
31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.
32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.
34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.
35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.
36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
Revelation 13:1-10
1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Revelation 16:10; 13-14
10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
Revelation 17:8; 10-13
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
Matthew 24:15-16
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: (Daniel 9:26-27; 11:31)
Mark 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: (Daniel 9:26-27; 11:31)
Zechariah 11:16-17
16 For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.
17 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-12
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Revelation 19:11-16; 19-20
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Isaiah 11:2-4
2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
Daniel 7:11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

More Understanding of the 3 Days of Darkness 4-16-26
Vicki Goforth Parnell
The 3 days of darkness is mentioned in Exodus 10:21-23 in the Word of God.
Exodus 10:21-23
21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.
22 And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:
23 They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.
This is darkness that is felt as if alive, No one inside the dark can see anything and causes no one to move during this time. This pertains to those who do not belong to Jesus Christ and sealed with the sweet Holy Ghost. Psalms 91:5-6 says this about darkness and night.
Psalms 91:5-6
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
The 3 days of darkness is called one of the 10 ‘plagues’ of Egypt, but so was the destroying angel who slayed the first born of Egypt during the night hours in Exodus 12:23. According to Bible hub, the word plague is a broader term for a contagious or devastating disease outbreak, often used in the same contexts as pestilence, meaning they can be related or interchanged for each other. So these things can be found as some of the terrors by night, pestilences that ‘walketh’ in the darkness and the destruction at noonday is the same time Amos 8:9 speaks of darkness falling upon the whole earth. If you will read Amos 8:8 you will see that Egypt is mentioned also indirectly as a reference in my understanding of the darkness covering the earth in verse 9. Therefore also connecting it to 3 days like the times prior of Egypt but also Jonah.
Amos 8:8-9
8 Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:
We learn from these verses that something that causes terror can be found in the night and pestilences in the darkness. From this it's easy to understand why the Egyptians were afraid to move in the darkness that was so dense and felt alive. This darkness was sent by God in holy judgment. It was considered a spiritual blindness and darkness that was upon the Egyptians.
The incident in the Word of God of Jonah the Hebrew prophet of God (Jonah 1:9 meaning and Israelite.) who endured 3 days of darkness inside of a fish because of sin is found in Jonah chapter 3. He was disobedient to God’s instructions to deliver His word of judgment to the city of Nineveh. He was brought to a place of repentance inside the belly of a fish. Darkness that's described as being in the belly of hell is what is written in the KJV Holy Bible.
Why is this account important besides just being a symbolic account of the earlier 3 days of darkness in Egypt? Because this time one of God’s chosen children was experiencing the darkness itself and not just the heathen Egyptians. This shows that 3 days of darkness can be experienced by both the righteous and unrighteous, (although Jonah was disobedient at the time.) with it coming the same yet in different ways.
Next, we have Jesus Christ’s body in the grave for 3 days. He was laid in the tomb on the day of preparation (Mark 15:42) and rose on the first day of the week (The day after the Sabbath.). (In the grave & Risen verses in the 4 gospels: Matthew 27:57-66 to Matthew 28:1-7; Mark 15:42-47 to Mark 16:1-9; Luke 23:50-56 to Luke 24:1-9; John 19:38-42 to John 20:1-10)
Other grave related verses for Jesus Christ:
Isaiah 53:8-9
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 bears witness to Jesus Christ only being in the grave for 3 days. In Bible days any part of a day lived was considered a whole day. For example, If it was 9 AM it was considered a whole day the same if it was 5 PM on the same day which would be getting close to sunset and the end of the Jewish day. (You can search online to pull such examples of partial days being called full days from the Word of God.)
1 Corinthians 15:3-4
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
The 3 hours of darkness endured by Jesus Christ on the cross is symbolic of the 3 days of darkness but my understanding now is it’s in relation to him enduring the fiery trials inside the darkness, so when we go through the 3 days of darkness our High Priest and good Shepherd has experienced this too. He will know exactly how to help each one of His children. Everything we will ever go through He has already experienced either directly or indirectly so He can be the Good Shepherd and also through the Holy Spirit that was in Him at the time He walked the earth that now resides in His true children bringing them strength, comfort and peace.
The darkness of Amos 8:9 is to cover the whole Earth at noon time. No amount of days is given in this passage but all other prior times of periods of darkness discussed in the Word of God with the amount of days given have been 3 days.
Ecclesiastes 1:9-10
9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
Ecclesiastes 3:15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
These verses tell us it’s clear what happens once will happen again and there is nothing new which hasn’t already occurred before.
What I was shown recently was the 3 days of darkness will cover the whole earth, because the descendants of the children of Israel have been dispensed all over the world by holy judgment. But also those of us that have accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts as Lord are now called His chosen people. We have to go through the darkness just like the children of Israel, the disobedient (like Jonah) and the obedient ones, but we will have light just like the children of Israel in Moses’ day. (Exodus 10:21-23 See verses at the start of this document.)
1 Peter 2:9-10
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
Israel will come back to Father God and accept Jesus Christ as their Messiah during the Tribulation.
Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
Romans 9:26-27
26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.
27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:
Romans 11:25-27
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
Concerning the coming darkness in Revelation 16. This is not the same as what is coming to cover the earth. The Word of God makes this clear that they are different when you study it out. This pronounced darkness coming in Revelation 16:10-11 is specifically a holy judgment for the kingdom of the beast/antichrist. More importantly it says, ‘the seat of his power’ which identifies one location of his kingdom. This darkness will not cover the whole earth like the one mentioned in Amos 8:9 and referenced in Psalms 91:6. They are 2 different times of darkness.
Revelation 16:10-11
10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
All this information can be applied to the prior that’s been given to help present a clearer picture, but in all things, you are called to try, test and discern these things in Jesus Christ’s Name.
Stay under the Blood of Jesus Christ always.

How the Coming 3 Days of Darkness is Found in the Holy Word of God
Vicki Goforth Parnell 2-13-25
What is the 3 days of darkness?
Darkness is first mentioned in Genesis 1 during creation. The 2nd time this word is mentioned is in Exodus when Father God in Heaven sent the 3 days of darkness through Moses’ obedience to His command. So what is it? Here is what the Holy Word of God reveals to us about it.
Exodus 10:21-27
21 And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.
22 And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:
23 They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.
24 And Pharaoh called unto Moses, and said, Go ye, serve the Lord; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed: let your little ones also go with you.
25 And Moses said, Thou must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the Lord our God.
26 Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the Lord our God; and we know not with what we must serve the Lord, until we come thither.
27 But the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he would not let them go.
****It’s a darkness sent from God for 3 days so thick that the Egyptians were not able to see anything. The darkness was so thick for 3 days they didn’t move and couldn't see anyone even if they were touching them. Psalms 91:5-6 says this about darkness and night.
Psalms 91:5-6
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
****These verses tell us there is terror that can be found in the night and pestilences in the darkness. From this it's easy to understand the Egyptians were afraid to move in the darkness and there could be a number of different reasons why. Because it is sent by God it is also considered a spiritual blindness and darkness upon the egyptians.
***Colossians 1:13 and Luke 22:53 tells us there’s power in darkness. We can identify the power within from Ephesians 6:12 and Romans 8:38 which tells us we wrestle against powers, principalities and rulers of the darkness of this world. All these plus more in our spiritual walk of faith in Jesus Christ’s Name.
We find in verse 23 that all the Children of Israel…God’s people had light during this time. This is important to know.
Can it happen again? Or has it ever?
***Let’s check the Scripture and see what it says.
Ecclesiastes 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
Ecclesiastes 3:15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
Amos 4:1:10 (Verse 1 identifies who Amos is referring to in Amos 4:10)
1 Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink.
10 I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the Lord.
Isaiah 10:24
24 Therefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.
***Here we have 2 passages telling us God had sent the plagues/pestilences of Egypt again. So yes the 3 days of darkness can happen again being the 9th plague of 10 mentioned in the book of Exodus. Revelation 11:6 says the two witnesses will have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. All plagues written in the Holy Bible, the Word of God.
***Deuteronomy 28 speaks of the blessings and curses that would be given to the children of Israel for their obedience or disobedience.
Deuteronomy 28:15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
*** This is their promise if they turned from God and disobeyed His commands.
The curse of darkness
Deuteronomy 28:27-29
27 The Lord will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed.
28 The Lord shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:
29 And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.
***Here we read where God is warning of the curses. In verse 27 God has begun talking about the plagues sometimes called pestilence of Egypt beginning with the botch. This is another word for boils. Immediately after He is speaking of madness, blindness and groping at noonday as the blind in darkness. There are other references to groping in darkness, being blind, and coming at noon or noon time such as Amos 8.
Isaiah 59:9-10
9 Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness.
10 We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noon day as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men.
Job 5:14 They meet with darkness in the day time, and grope in the noonday as in the night.
Job 12:24-25
24 He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.
25 They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.
***Here is why we know the 3 days of darkness can come again beside the passages that tell us God has sent the plagues of Egypt again after they were sent in Moses and Pharaoh's days. In addition to the 2 witnesses in Revelation 11.
Deuteronomy 28:58-61
58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, The Lord Thy God;
59 Then the Lord will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.
60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.
61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
(We know from Revelation 11:6 the 2 end time witnesses can smite the earth with all plagues. And Deuteronomy 28: 61 says Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
***Quite frankly the plagues come again including the 3 days of darkness because God says He will send them to the disobedient and unbelievers. Nothing is impossible with God according to Luke 1:37.
***We find in Revelation 16 there is another time of pronounced darkness coming but it doesn’t specify for how long. God doesn’t have to tell us all the specifics because He’s God and we are not!
Revelation 16:10-11
10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
How are these curses and blessings relevant to us nowadays?
***To answer the question how we need to understand the difference between the old covenant of the law and the New Covenant of Grace given to us through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice.
***For those who have accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts as Lord and Savior you are no longer under the old law, the old Covenant. But are now living under the Covenant of Grace. Because we are no longer under the old law if we violate the law of the New Covenant there is grace given to us. Grace as well as time to repent of any wrong doings. Violating the laws of the New Covenant is referring to being disobedient to what we are commanded to do by Jesus Christ including the moral laws written in the Old Testament. The ten commandments which Jesus Christ expounded on when he walked this Earth as both God and man. (Matthew 5:28)
***Jesus Christ said in John 14:15 if you love me, keep my commandments. In John 14:21 He said, “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” So we see even in the Covenant of Grace it is a matter of being obedient as we're instructed to do. In addition in the New Covenant of Grace when we accept Jesus Christ into our heart we also inherit the blessings of Abraham which include everything written in Deuteronomy 28:1-14 which is a blessing.
Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Galatians 3: 13-15
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.
***Why is this important? What does it have to do with the world today or the 3 days of darkness coming again?
***It's important because when you understand if you're not under the Grace Covenant then you're still living under the curse and living under the old covenant. There are those who think that believing in Christ Jesus is not enough and add in addition an obligation of keeping the laws too. They have caused themselves to fall from grace and be under the Old law once again. This also includes those who try to work their way into Heaven because salvation's gift is freely given. You don't earn it, you receive it in faith believing in Jesus Christ and what He's done. (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 2:11-12; Romans 5:15-18;10:9)
***Those trying to get to Heaven through Jesus Christ but also works are those who have opened themselves up to the curse of the law that Christ had redeemed them from because they have chosen themselves to have a merit-based relationship with Father God and Jesus Christ instead of that unmerited favor that comes in the New Covenant with Jesus Christ as our Lord. You choose either his grace all the way or the curse under the law. There is not a mix and match alternative.
***Paul calls in Galatians 3:10 those who introduce the law of the old Covenant into their walk with God, with Jesus Christ foolish. All who rely on the law or their own works meaning their ability to keep the law are under a curse. The curse of sin. They can't escape it because if they break one law they’ve broken them all which keeps them or places them under the curse. In addition those who have never accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts as Lord and have never repented are still under the curse. You only receive the New Covenant of Grace by receiving His gift of Salvation. (Galatians 3:10-15; Romans 10:13; John 3:16)
***There are many children of God, men, women, even children who have been given dreams, warnings, and visions of three days of darkness coming again. We see now through the Holy Word of God it has happened again after occurring during the days of Moses and Pharaoh and with all the warnings coming forth will happen again. We are told in Amos 3:7 surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealed his secrets into his servants of prophets.
***We read in Exodus 10 with the children of Israel they had lights while the Egyptians were in the horrifying darkness. During the return of the three days of darkness those who've accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts shall have some form of light because they're under the Covenant of Grace just as God’s people the children of Israel did. This is also why those who are living a clean and holy life or bride ready as I call it will have supernatural lighting of some type. These are those that are walking obediently in holiness in their lives as they are commanded to do by the Word of God with Jesus Christ and sweet Holy Spirit's help.
***This is also why those Christians who are straddling the fence between the world and serving Jesus Christ who have sin in their lives shall have light during the three days of darkness but it will be candlelight. This is also determined by the spiritual head of the house and whether they are bride ready or found with sin in their lives. The only way light of any kind is possible during the 3 days of darkness is by Father God. Given to us through His mercy and grace for His children. Those who are living under the Covenant of Grace and have been redeemed and justified by our acceptance of Jesus Christ into our hearts. If not for this Covenant of Grace then we would be in complete darkness also with the rest of the world. The old Covenant and the new both are the same in one aspect. Obedience.
How do we know the curses are for everyone and not just Israelites?
***Many nations are now non-existent from God’s judgment of sin for disobeying His commands and serving false gods.

What does 1 Corinthians 11:5 Mean About a Woman’s Head Being Covered?
Vicki Goforth Parnell 11-22-23 @ 12:40 PM
5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
So many people today will not study this verse thoroughly or even study the whole content surrounding it in verses 1-16. Nor do they realize this appears to be actually referring to the men and women in a church setting…a service.
In addition, this verse is not only concerning women that prophesy, but all women WHO PRAY!
There’s more to this than the obvious assumption. 2 Timothy 2:15 says 'Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.’
I will not be voicing an opinion but simply laying out what I have found in my studies and ask you to take all these things to Jesus Christ in prayer.
Let’s begin at the beginning of 1 Corinthians 11 in Jesus Christ’s name. Verse 2 is where our lovely Jesus Christ first began showing me this understanding.
1 Corinthians 11:1-2.
1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
2 Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.
Definition of Ordinance: a piece of legislation enacted by a municipal authority; an authoritative order; a decree; a prescribed religious rite (rite means: a religious or other solemn ceremony or act: a body of customary observances characteristic of a Church or a part of it:)
Strong’s definition: G3862 =Greek word ‘paradosis’ which means: (concretely) a precept; specially, the Jewish traditionary law:—ordinance, tradition.
Paul in 1 Corinthians is addressing the Corinthian church and in chapter 11 among others in the Word of God appears to be talking about a church service, a gathering where the holy scriptures are shared and worship occurs in Jesus Christ’s name.
We see when he tells us to keep the ordinances he delivers to them…to us, the ordinances according to the Strong’s definition appears to mean a precept. An order but in the tradition of their day.
Now that this is understood Lord willing I will break down the verses for clarity and understanding in Jesus Christ’s name. Sweet Holy Spirit please teach us as John 14:26 says you will do.
Please remember as we start this that just as words today can mean different things in different circumstances, so does this occur in the translation of the Holy Bible and the Greek words themselves. To clarify I will be adding at times the Thayer’s Greek Lexicon information also, Lord willing. All this information can be found at the wwwblueletterbible.org site.
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
The phrase ‘the head’ both times is the Greek word ‘kephalē’ Strong's number G2726 and means : literally or figuratively:—head. In this verse it means figuratively.
Thayer’s Greek Lexicon: of a husband in relation to his wife, 1 Corinthians 11:3; Ephesians 5:23; of Christ, the lord of the husband, 1 Corinthians 11:3 (cf. Buttmann, 124f (109)); of the church, Ephesians 4:15; Ephesians 5:23; Colossians 2:19
To understand the meaning of whether a woman should have her head covered or uncovered when she prays and speaks prophetically, I feel one must know what the key phrases mean in 1 Corinthians 11:4-6. The phrases ‘her head’ and the word ‘uncovered’ among others. The word head can be figurative or literal. Some teach that the phrase ‘her head’ refers only to the woman’s husband's authority over her. If she has a husband, then he is the head of his wife or her
authority. I agree. Because the man is the ordained head of his house and Jesus Christ is over the man and the church. (Ephesians 5:22-25)
But in this instance it appears in 1 Corinthians 11:4-6 this is not the English equivalent of the Greek word used here. I have found the Greek word for “head” is kephale and is the normal Greek word for the anatomical head that is supported by a person’s neck.
There are times in the Word of God the word kephale is used to refer to the chief or head cornerstone (Psalms 118:22, etc.) and a few times I have found so far that it refers to someone’s hair. (1 Corinthians 11:5; Matthew 10:30, etc.) Otherwise, the word is used 69 times to refer to the anatomical “head” or “heads” in the New Testament.(Matthew 5:36; 26:7; Act 18:18; Romans 12:20; 1 Corinthians 12:21; Revelation 1:14; 9:17, etc.) That is, “her head” does not refer to her husband but to her own physical head in 1 Corinthians 5-6). Paul is discussing a woman covering her physical head…. her hair.
1 Corinthians 11:4-6
4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
In verse 4 the Greek word head is the Greek word ‘kephalē’ also. It’s Strong's number G2726
Strong’s definition : literally or figuratively:—head.
In verse 5 in the Greek it’s the phrase ‘with [her] head and is the same Greek word ‘kephalē’ Strong's number G2726 and same usage as verse 4 which means : literally or figuratively:—head.
Thayer's Greek Lexicon: the head, both of men and often; and of animals in these verses: Matthew 5:36; Mark 6:24; Luke 7:38, 44 (Rec.),46; John 13:9; Acts 18:18; 1 Corinthians 11:4; Revelation 1:14; Revelation 4:4, and often; and of animals: Revelation 9:7, 17, 19, etc.;
In verse 5 the word dishonoureth is the Greek word ‘kataischynō ‘ G2617.
Strong’s definition: to shame down, i.e. disgrace or (by implication) put to the blush:—confound, dishonour, (be a-, make a-)shame(-d).
Thayer’s Greek Lexicon: to dishonor, disgrace: found in 1 Corinthians 11:5. The word uncovered is the Greek word akatakalyptos Strong’s number G177. Strong’s definition: uncovered-unveiled
Thayer’s Greek Lexicon: not covered, unveiled: 1 Corinthians 11:5; 13.
The phrase ‘she were shaven’ is the Greek word xyraō Strong’s number G3587 which is a derivative of the Greek word xylon (G3586)
Strong’s definition: (meaning a razor); to shave or "shear" the hair:—shave.
6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
The word shorn in verse 6 is the Greek word keirō and is Strong’s number G2751.
Strong’s definition: to shear:—shear(-er).
Thayer’s Greek Lexicon: absolutely, of shearing or cutting short the hair of the head, 1 Corinthians 11:6
One can see from 1 Corinthians 11:5 that Paul is concerned about women whose heads are bald or shaved since he says, “with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.” It is also important to notice that in verse 6 the Greek word that is translated as “cut off” is keirō which means “to shear or cut off.”
We also see in Acts 8:32 the Greek word keirō is used of a “shearer” of a lamb. A shearer completely removes all of the lamb’s “hair.” Also, in verse 6 the Greek word for ‘shaved’ is xyraō. The word is a derivative, meaning it comes from the word xylon which means a ‘razor.’ In ancient times a razor was used to trim beards. By comparing these 2 Greek words and their meanings keiro with xyrao we discover that Paul is referring to a woman’s hair that has been completely cut off, as one shears sheep or her hair that has been cut and shortened by a razor.
Now let’s jump down, Lord willing to 1 Corinthians 11: 15.
In 1 Corinthians 11:15, Paul says that a woman’s long hair is the covering that God has given her and should be worn long.
15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
The Greek word for glory is doxa Strong's number G1391.
Strong’s definition: glory (as very apparent), in a wide application (literal or figurative, objective or subjective):—dignity, glory(-ious), honour, praise, worship.
Thayer’s Greek Lexicon:to be a glory, ornament, to one, 1 Corinthians 11:15; In verse 15 the phrase ‘have long hair’ is the Greek word komaō. Strong’s definition: to wear tresses of hair:—have long hair. Thayer’s Greek Lexicon to let the hair grow, have long hair: 1 Corinthians 11:14
A woman’s long hair is her glory….her dignity…her honor. Therefore, Paul’s reference to uncovered women’s heads being a dishonor or a shame to them appears to refer to hair that is very short or bald. This is supported by the Greek word for ‘long hair’ in verse 15 which is komaō. This word refers to hair that is long and not cut short.
This would also mean that Paul is encouraging all the women to show submission by wearing their hair long, that her long hair is her covering. [verses 4, 5, 6] If the glory and honor is the woman’s hair and it’s called their covering, it appears the dishonorment, the shame and the uncovering of the woman’s hair mentioned in verse 5 is in the cutting of her long hair or shaving her head. This also appears to mean a woman should not have her hair cut short as men typically wear their hair. What the typical hair length was for a man in biblical days I do not know. That would be for another study Lord willing.
Paul’s discussion continues until verse 16 in 1 Corinthians chapter 11. In this last verse he makes an important statement that this is a universal and divine principle that all of the churches are to follow.
16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
This means in my understanding, if anyone wants to be contentious (argumentative), they are arguing against this common practice among the churches. The fact that Paul is saying, “All of the other churches are following this custom or habit.”
Let me say this, I have been in mighty services of God when the Holy Spirit would be moving and a prophetic word would come forth from men and women alike because God has no respect of persons. (Romans 2:11) Not once did I witness a woman under the power of the Holy Spirit stop to cover her head before the holy word came forth and these words given under the power of the Holy Spirit that ‘did’ prove true at a later time.
At other times, in the church I grew up in, the women and men would gather at the altar and aid in praying for a lost soul to be saved and that person would accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior…with the women’s heads uncovered and without a veil. Not to mention praying for someone to be healed..and they were healed! So, you be the judge. We are to watch the fruit of each person’s life. (Matthew 7:16-23)
In the end we are all equal in our God’s eyes, but the male and female bodies have some differences in our creation because the woman was taken out of the man’s ribs. But when we are called to work for our lovely Jesus Christ….
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28
Please pray about all this information and ask Jesus Christ to reveal his truth to you.
Thank you and God bless.

Why Hebrews 10:25?
Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Why gather together? Why is it important besides the obvious reason of encouraging (Exhorting) one another? And as I pondered and prayed on this, many things came to me . But only one thing and one thing alone stands out predominantly and that is because it’s an opportunity to come into God’s holy presence together and worship and offer praise unto our King Jesus Christ, the Lord of All with other believers in Christ. But what does it mean to worship, to truly worship God? We are called to worship. We are created to worship God in the beauty of holiness.
Psalms 95:6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.” and
Psalms 29:2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
When we come into His presence we are supposed to leave the cares of our lives at the door of the building whether it be a church, an internet video screen or someone else’s or your home and come with open arms, open abandonment into God’s presence. He is a holy God. Just in all His ways and deserves all our praises.
John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
To worship in spirit means : To love Him with heart, soul, mind and strength (body). True worship must be ‘in spirit’ meaning one engages their whole heart….their whole being. Unless there’s a real passion for God and Jesus Christ, then there is no true worshiping in the spirit.
At the same time worship must be ‘in truth.’ That is meaning properly informed. Having a balance of knowledge of the word of God (John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. ) as well as a worshiper’s heart. This way by knowing His word you will be less likely to be deceived should the enemy try to come in…otherwise he will.
But we know the remedy for that too in Jesus Christ’s name. It’s found in James 4:7, Luke 10:19; Isaiah 54:17; Proverbs 26:2 & Matthew 18:18.
James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
Proverbs 26:2 As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.
Matthew 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
But we are also instructed to worship or to sacrifice unto Him in our bodies also.
Romans 12:1-2
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.
When you come into your Heavenly Father’s presence and you worship Him in unconditional surrender or even as some say reckless abandonment then you are empowering Him full access into your life to be able to work the impossible in all your present and future situations. Even taking the things from the past working all things for our good for those who love him. (Romans 8:28) But what is the difference between praising our God and worshiping Him? I found an article written by ‘Got Questions Ministries’ who gives an earnest explanation of both: Praise is the joyful recounting of all God has done for us. It is closely intertwined with thanksgiving as we offer back to God appreciation for His mighty works on our behalf. We are commanded to give Praise unto our God!
Romans 15:11 And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.
Worship however, comes from a different place within our spirits. Worship should be reserved for God alone (Luke 4:8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.). Worship is the art of losing self in the adoration of another. Praise can be a part of worship, but worship goes beyond praise. Praise is easy; worship is not. Worship gets to the heart of who we are. To truly worship God, we must let go of our self-worship. We must be willing to humble ourselves before God, surrender every part of our lives to His control, and adore Him for who He is, not just what He has done. Worship is a lifestyle, not just an occasional activity. Jesus said the Father is seeking those who will worship Him "in spirit and in truth" (John 4:23 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.).
In the Word of God praise is usually presented as boisterous, joyful, and uninhibited. God invites praise of all kinds from His creation. Jesus said that if people don't praise God even the "stones will cry out" (Luke 19:40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.). When the Bible mentions worship, however, the tone changes. We read verses like:
Psalms 96:9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
Psalms 95:6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
Often, worship is coupled with the act of bowing or kneeling, which shows humility and contrition.
Examples such as:
2 Chronicles 29:28 And all the congregation worshiped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded: and all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.;
Hebrews 11:21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshiped, leaning upon the top of his staff.;
Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
It is through true worship that we invite the Holy Spirit to speak to us, convict us, and comfort us. Through worship we realign our priorities with God's and acknowledge Him once more as the rightful Lord of our lives. We submit from our hearts and not vain fickle lips our thankfulness to our God and Jesus Christ our Savior who died for us. God intended Man to worship and serve Him in the days of the Holy Bible and even unto this current time we live in. We are called to worship him. He has not changed nor will he ever.
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. \
Isaiah 43:7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
Isaiah 43:12 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.
When we come together in unity, worshiping our God, hearing his word teached and/or preached we can grow strength from one another. Our testimonies can inspire and encourage one another. Remember the Word of God says,“they are made overcomers by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.” (Revelation 12:11) But please make sure you are only going where the Holy Spirit leads you and if he’s leading and not you, then it will be a meeting whether in a church, internet meeting or other buildings where the full gospel of Jesus Christ is believed and shared and not just pieces of it that are picked and chosen to believe in. It’s time for the true believers of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to arise from their slumber! Rub the sleep from your eyes and shake the dust off your clothes. It’s time to start coming before our God in Jesus Christ’s name in humble worship and praise. It’s time for us to leave all our ‘junk’ and all our ‘stuff’ at the feet of Jesus Christ and pick up our garments of praise and no longer offer unto Him a half hearted, lukewarm praise. It’s time to worship in spirit and in truth, wholeheartedly no matter where you are…alone or with others.
He is a just God. A kind God who is full of love, mercy and compassion and He is long suffering unto man. But He will not always be long suffering for one day we will stand before Him as our Righteous Judge. Then it will be too late to offer our praise and worship unto Him. So let’s let the cares of our lives and the tiredness of our bodies go and come together in mind and/or in our bodies and worship together in love and unity. Let us become the church that Jesus Christ has called us to be. That city on the hill, that beacon of hope for all to see. (Matthew 5:14)

Are God & Jesus Christ Really One and How Does His Blood Have Power to Save?
Vicki Goforth Parnell 5-11-25
We are learning how the enemy operates and their devices mainly for the purpose of, "these things can't harm us." This is why we can stand upon Isaiah 54:17 which says, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.” All that we've uncovered, encountered and still to come is to let us know, "this can't touch us, that is powerless, this thing, that curse, that attack," cannot penetrate the Blood of Jesus Christ. Which is now the children of God's hedge of protection as is found in Job 1:9-10.
Job 1:9-10
9 Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
Isaiah 5:5 And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:
The Blood of Jesus Christ marks us, cleanses us and seals us. He washes us clean. When we accept Jesus Christ into our hearts our garments become pristine clean with His righteousness and holiness. Jesus Christ has provided us a clean robe of righteousness that can be kept clean by a continual washing in his blood. His blood of repentance applied when we ask for forgiveness of our sin.
Cleanses verse:
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Marked verse:
1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
His holiness and righteousness given verses:
Leviticus 19:2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.
Clean ourselves up verses:
2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Ephesians 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
Sealed by Salvation/Blood/Holy Spirit once we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord verses: John 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
As in everyday life, sometimes our clothes, our garments get dirty. Some deliberately while some is accidental. For example, going outside and jumping in a mud puddle will cause dirty water to splatter and most likely you will have spots of muddy, dirty water on your clothes. On the other side of this you can be accidentally spotted meaning it wasn't your intention to get dirty. You can be walking outside and a car drives by and instead of playing in the mud puddle by choice you get splattered by it covering you in its filth. The same is with sin. Then you have a dirty garment covered with stains.
Proverbs 24:16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Only the Blood of Jesus Christ can take the stains of sin out of our lives. This is why we are called to repent even after we've accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. This is why the Word says in Isaiah 1:16 "Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes; cease to do evil.” The cleaning process is repenting of your sin. His Blood can wash the garments of our souls clean for the first time or once again. The continual washing away of our sins is needed because of the sin-filled world we live in and the interactions we have directly, or indirectly with other people, other inhabitants in our world in addition to our warfare against the kingdom of darkness. Once clean by His blood then we need to maintain the cleanliness of our garment by doing all the Word of God tells us to do in obedience and love to Him. When you have a garment with a stain that did not come out then you know the person's repentance was not genuine. Otherwise the Blood of Jesus Christ would have cleaned and removed it because it washes all sin away for those who ask for true forgiveness of their sins.
Ephesians 1:6-7
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1 John 2:2
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
If there is found to be a permanent stain on a once cleaned pure garment cleansed by Jesus Christ’s Blood then this is one that He has marked as a reprobate or one that has blasphemed the Holy Spirit. These are those due to their continual rejection of the sweet Holy Spirit's call to repent through His convicting power that are given permanently over to Satan and Lucifer. Meaning they have rejected both the sweet Holy Spirit's call to repent and Jesus Christ truly as the Lord. Without the Blood of Jesus Christ washing someone clean then there's no cleansing away the spots of sin on one’s garments before Salvation's gift is received or after. Repentance is needed to maintain the cleanliness of our garments. Along with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and obedience to His Holy Word.
How do we remain clean in Jesus Christ? Through repentance. When we repent then there's nothing between us and our Lord Jesus Christ. There are no hindrances, our hearing is clear, the sweet Holy Spirit's voice is clear so His directions are easier to follow. Our hunger for the Word of God increases as well as our desire to spend time with Him. Everyday living can sometimes cause us to inadvertently get a spot of stain upon our clean garments. This can come about by a heated argument with angry words when spoken we’ve not repented of. It can be by wrongful actions or reactions, even vain thoughts not taken captive and under control in Jesus Christ’s Name that leads into sinful thinking. There’s power in Jesus Christ’s Name and Blood to overcome all things in life.
1 Corinthians 10:3-5
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
1 John 5:4-5
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? Romans 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Sometimes we don't recognize we have sinned and spotted our garments until Sweet Holy Ghost Spirit starts convicting us of these sins. When you have a garment that gets a stain on it the
sooner you wash it the easier it comes out. Otherwise if you leave it unwashed or untreated with stain remover that stain sets into the fabric and becomes more stubborn and difficult to get out, to wash out. The same is with sin. If you don't deal with sin's removal in your life and repent when you're convicted by the sweet Holy Spirit it becomes harder for you to let go of it and allow it to be removed. Meaning like a stubborn stain in a garment that sin will set in deeper in that spot of your life by your refusal to acknowledge and/or deal with that sin in your life. What I mean by harder to remove is for that person and not the power of Jesus Christ’s Blood to remove it. Some people have grown comfortable in their sins even liking the feel of them. For example this is you have a favorite comfortable shirt. You don't care how many spots or blemishes it has on it. You like it and refuse to get rid of it even to take it off for washing. Such is a way of sinning when you refuse to let it go. You refuse to give it to Jesus Christ and let Him wash it clean for you. If you allow Him to wash you clean you will find His garment He gives you free from sin is clean, spotless, lightweight, and when you become accustomed to the cleanliness of it you will find you had wished you had allowed Him to wash it, wash you clean sooner.
John 16:8-9
8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
2 Corinthians 7:9-10
9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. 10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
Jesus Christ, His Name, His Blood does all this but you have to want to be clean. You have to be the one to make the choice to accept Jesus Christ into your heart so you can be washed clean from your sins. The only thing in existence that will ever have the power to do so is His Blood. This is because He is God's Son. He is God inside a fleshly body of man. So His blood, the Blood of God could be shed for His creation of man. He had to take on the form of a fleshly man because He is a Spirit. In a body made of flesh it was now possible for His Blood to be spilled and given for man's sins. Because Jesus Christ became flesh and was born of woman, he was both human, and God, the Son. That is why Jesus Christ referred to Father God as My God as well as My Father and didn’t equate Himself equal to God while on earth in the fleshy body in which His full glory hadn’t been restored yet. Yet at other times He referenced Himself as God which was referring to His person which was the Word placed into the flesh, His Spirit being and not the body of flesh.
God is a Spirit verses:
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth
Jesus Christ is God verses:
John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Hebrews 1:8-9
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Note: Jesus Christ calls Himself the Almighty, a name given to Father God in the Old Testament 48 times and in the New Testament 8 times.
God took His own words and fashioned them into a fleshly body. He created Himself a Son that was fully Himself yet separate.
John 1:1-2; 14
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
When we speak words that leave our mouth they're still part of us. We spoke them. They belong to us even though they have left our physical presence. So it is with Jesus Christ begotten by Father God when He created His words to form His Son that could die for our world. Jesus Christ is God. He is His words. He is a part of Him. They are of One Being. One Spirit. Yet divided to serve a purpose. And that purpose is redemption of the human race mankind. So Jesus Christ is a literal part of Father God the Creator of All who when He speaks things are created out of nothing. Out of His words.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
When I speak or when I make an action they belong to me. They are part of me although when my words are spoken or my actions are done they're no longer physically attached to me but they're still mine. Even if I tried to lie and say they weren't mine they are still a literal part of existence belonging to me. And since this connection is invisible to the naked eye it's spiritual. I'm still spiritually connected to all I say and do. Like some type of a spiritual signature. This is
how a record is kept of all we say and do besides a recorder in our minds. This way this record of all we do while living here on Earth gives judgment against us good or bad on Judgment Day.
Revelation 20:11-15
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Ecclesiastes 11:9 Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.
1 Peter 4:5-6
5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. 6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
It's by this spiritual connection to all we say and do, or spiritual signature Jesus Christ Blood is able to wash all our sins clean that are connected to us and not those of the whole world of those who have not repented and haven't accepted Him as their Lord and Savior. This is also how it is possible for there are spiritual signature marking and identifying our every deed, word and action that all records of past sins can be removed and marked out of existence and our names then written in the Lamb's Book of Life when we accept Jesus Christ into our hearts.
So Jesus Christ is God, His words, His voice made into flesh. When created as a man God also created Jesus Christ with a physical voice of His own so when it comes time for Jesus Christ to return judgment back to Father God He still has a voice to speak on His own. This is why also
Jesus Christ while on the earth could do nothing but Father God's will. Because He was the created words of God Himself. By being God He was able to endure what no other created man could do. Become the Savior of our world. This is and was impossible for any other to do. This is how it's possible for Jesus Christ to be God in the flesh. This is how they are: The same Spirit being yet also different because God created the body for His words to reside in. This is how it's possible for the words of John 10:30 to be fully true which say, I and My Father are One.
Those who would want to argue that your words are no longer a part of you I refer you to our court system here on earth. Which is far less righteous than Father God's Court in heaven. You can be convicted for your actions and words spoken. If you kill people you can be convicted for those actions. These actions still belong to you. You're still connected to them. They are part of you even though they're separate from you now. Or if you threaten to kill someone or burn their homes down. You can end up in jail or sent to a mental institute because your words are still part of you, of who you are here on Earth. Showing how our actions, our deeds and our words are all still a part of us, we're still spiritually connected. We are one in the same yet separate from our
physical being of our actions, deeds and words that are spoken. Just like Father God and Jesus Christ are the same. They are God yet they are separate.

If Jesus Christ isn’t God then He really, really, really sounds like Him. Here’s the thing that really sealed it for me: God declares Jesus Christ is God in the written Word. I’ve already mentioned Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. But there’s more. God bestows upon the Messiah the Name of Jesus who is Jesus Christ which is above every Name.
Philippians 2:9-11
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Does that mean that Jesus Christ’s Name is above God's special holy Name, YHVH? Yes, since Jesus is the "Name which is above every name"!
Unless God is committing idolatry and exalting His creation above Himself then Jesus Christ must be God (not His body but His person). It is not idolatry if God gives to Himself the Name which is above every Name. It is entirely fitting and appropriate!
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. (John 1:1–2) And the Word became flesh [i.e. the body of Jesus] , and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the holy begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)

Holiness & Bitterness
Vicki Goforth Parnell
6-24-25
Hebrews 12:13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
In this verse we are being instructed by Paul for the believers of Jesus Christ to walk holy. To choose our steps in Him. Proverbs 4:26 echoes the same instructions.
Proverbs 4:26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
We need to hold fast to our instructions found in the Word of God and choose to walk in the Holy ways of our God. Because our lives should be an example for others to see, to encourage, and inspire others to walk closer to Him. This is not because we ourselves are great, but the God inside of us is greater and makes all things possible through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:13) The lame that Hebrews 12:23 is speaking about is referring to those that are wounded and hurt. Those that are weak in their faith. Those who are struggling in their walk with our Lord Jesus Christ. If we don't walk a holy and consecrated life meaning set apart in Jesus Christ and one that is lame (wounded, weak in faith & such like) is watching, you can very well be the turning point in their lives that causes them to stumble and fall.
Our life should be an example to those wounded and hurt that lead them to healing through Jesus Christ who is the healer of all wounds, all hurts and such like we face in this life. We should always ask God to instruct our footsteps and all that we do.
Proverbs 3: 5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Holiness: living in moral purity and integrity in the ways of Father God out of love for him. Setting yourself apart. Being unspotted by the world and separate from sin. A consecrated life dedicated to God.
Holiness should be a priority in our lives. One such example of us being instructed in ways of Holiness is found in Ephesians 4:21-27.
21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.
Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
What is a root of bitterness? What is bitterness?
Bitterness: a destructive spiritual state caused by unresolved anger, resentment, or perceived even imagined hurts and injustices. It can be caused from disappointments, envy, jealousy and such like. If left unchecked it can grow into a root of bitterness which is poison to the heart of the person causing hatred, malice, and spiritual even physical murder for them and to others they feel are involved. It can kill relationships of all types: families, friends, coworkers, and such like. It defiles that person polluting their spirit because bitterness is sin. Its root cause is unforgiveness. We are told to put away all bitterness Ephesians 4:31-32
Ephesians 3:31-32
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Colossians 3:8 reflects this when we're instructed to put away all anger, malice and wrath. All by products of bitterness.
Colossians 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
If bitterness is left unchecked, if not repented of it can spread like an ivy vine whose roots are strong and can have shoots of growth growing and coming up all over a person's yard. Bitterness not only causes defilement in that person but it affects others. This is what Hebrews 12:15 was referring to when it said at the latter part of the verse, “... springing up (growing from the root and spreading its poison) it troubles you (causes sin, defilement, or pollution in your holiness before God) and thereby many be defiled.”
Bitterness, resentment, anger, and envy are many of the reasons there are so many church hurts in church splits. Also for other types of relationships. But the offensive hurt many times is in the person's mind. It can be a thought, a whisper, and action the enemy has planted inside your mind and because the person didn't seek Jesus Christ or Father God for His truth in the matter and also didn't choose to forgive the offense where the real or not bitterness begins to grow. But it can also be a real hurt that was unintentional or intentional.
Deuteronomy 29:18 Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the Lord our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;
Take notice in this first part it’s talking about a root that bears gall and wormwood. Wormwood in the Bible is a symbol of bitterness, calamity and judgment often associated with the consequences of disobedience and sin. So again we see how that bitterness can spread among many per the Word of God.
Here is what a few of the outward symptoms of bitterness can be: envy, anger, resentment, desire for revenge, a hardened attitude, stubbornness, unwilling to change even when there's a need to do so, unforgiveness, rage, hypercritical, critical or judgmental spirit, criticism and such like. Bitterness affects both the heart and mind. This is where the root's poison spreads and continues to grow. It alienates us from our God putting a distance between us and Him. Bitterness is sin and we need to ask forgiveness for the sin. It is rooted in the spirit of unforgiveness. We are instructed to forgive others so we can be forgiven by our Heavenly Father.
Matthew 6:14 -15
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Forgiveness is a choice. A decision that each of us chooses to make or not to make. We are called forgive one another in the Word of God.
Colossians 3:13-14
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
We are told to be angry and to not sin. To not let the sun go down upon our wrath. Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
This is because if we've opened the door to sin, we need to repent so that the enemy does not get a foothold in our lives. Also it's during the night the most witchcraft demonic attacks are assigned and sent out. If you have unrepented sin in your life that is an open door for them to create havoc for you and all that pertains to you.
The roots of our lives as children of the Most High God who've been bought and paid for through Jesus Christ's Blood are not supposed to grow poisonous roots of bitterness and sin. We are instructed to grow our roots in Christ.
Colossians 2:6-7
6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
What is a type of soil that allows bitterness to grow in us even if it's an imagined hurt? A heart that harbors hostility and does not deal with the hurt. Usually it is an older hurt someone has tried to bury but still it grows faster and can only be removed by God's grace through forgiveness and true repentance of heart. All healing, spiritual & physical comes through our lovely Jesus Christ.
The root of bitterness is rooted deep like a tree or plant, even the ivy vine mentioned prior whose roots are planted. Therefore they are hidden and camouflage to the naked eye. This is the same for the root of bitterness at first in a person's life but it will eventually become evident as it begins affecting that person's life as well as others, including their environment they live in.
Not often when you find someone who will admit they're a bitter person. They will disguise or deny it. A bitter person is hypersensitive, ungrateful, and sincere, holds grudges, has mood swings and such like. All through manipulation of their heart, mind and life from the kingdom of darkness access to it because you chose not to forgive. This is an agreement, an access door to your life.
Bitterness not only affects you spiritually but emotionally and physically. This is because it's sin and it's poisonous. Unforgiveness allows the devil access into your mind, body, your whole being. Your relationship with Jesus Christ will suffer because sin separates from a holy God who has called us to be holy.
Isaiah 59:2 but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you that He will not hear you.
A few examples how bitterness is kept alive.
Proverbs 17:9 He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.
1. Replaying over in our minds the other person’s offense over and over again. This is perhaps the most common feeder of bitterness and unforgiveness. Every time we replay someone’s sin in our minds, we water the seed of bitterness in our hearts…and it grows. This is contrary to the Word of God which tells us to forgive but also to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ it casting it down.
2 Corinthians 4:4-5
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down vain imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
We know by these verses that repeating an offense in our mind and not casting it down is disobedience to the Word of God. So in addition of now dealing with the disobedience of not forgiving we're in disobedience for not taking control and authority over the situation that we have through Jesus Christ and the power of His Name.
2. When you keep a hurt or an offense constantly fresh in your mind, if you get into an argument with that person or any type of discussion then you will throw this back at them. What's being done in this situation whether it's intentionally or unintentionally done is making sure that the person who hurt you does not forget what they've done to you. Even if they've asked for forgiveness. This is not always the case in situations where a person is not aware of any offense or supposed offense that they've done to someone.
3. When you allow bitterness to take root in oftentimes you will find yourself repeating the hurt or offense to someone else instead of taking it to the Lord Jesus Christ. You can find yourself repeating the same thing that was done to you to someone else. Also this can be a repeating of the offense by words to other people. The Word of God calls this gossip. One thing to notice about gossip is that it harms four different parties:
It harms the speaker of the gossip.
Proverbs 25:9–10
9 Debate thy cause with thy neighbour himself; and discover not a secret to another: 10 Lest he that heareth it put thee to shame, and thine infamy turn not away.
Proverbs 26:10 The great God that formed all things both rewardeth the fool, and rewardeth transgressors.
It harms the subject of the gossip
Proverbs 26:20 Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.
It harms the listener of the gossip
Proverbs 22:24–25
24 Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: 25 Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.
Proverbs 26:22 The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.
It grieves the Holy Spirit
Ephesians 4:29–31
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
Isaiah 63:10 But they rebelled, and vexed his Holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.
Every time we repeat a matter in one of these three ways, we feed bitterness in our hearts. When these thoughts come to our mind we should cast them down in the Name of Jesus Christ, binding them, canceling the assignments of the enemy. Also binding the demons, throwing them into the
abyss/pit in Jesus Christ Name. Then we need to think on other things such as the promises of God for us or what is lovely, pure, true and such like. If we think and rest in these promises, our hearts will become fertile ground for the Holy Spirit to work. Remember: bitterness is not something you have or don’t have; it’s something you cultivate. It is a choice to keep growing it or to pull it up and cast it away. The same is true for forgiveness.
Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Jesus Christ is coming back for a pure and spotted holy bride. That means one free from sin. It's time to ask Sweet Holy Spirit to search deep into our hearts and reveal to us anything we need to repent of and to ask forgiveness in Jesus Christ's Name. The only way to remove bitterness in your life is running into the arms of Jesus Christ and again asking Him to forgive and cleanse you. Then when He does, let it go and don’t pick it up again, so forgiveness and healing can be yours.
Examples of bitterness in the Word of God:
Cain and Abel: Genesis 4:2-9
Cain becomes consumed by bitterness for his brother Abel and God when his offering is rejected by god. He feels unjustly treated and slaves his brother. We can understand this through reading the Scripture
Esau and Jacob: Genesis 25:29 - 34; 27:33-36; 41-46
Esau's bitterness toward his brother Jacob because he had lost his birthright blessing even though he sold it for a bowl of lentils. He threatens to kill Jacob but doesn't appear to feel remorse or that he is wrong because he sheds tears over the loss of his blessing from his father.
Paul and Simon the sorcerer: Acts 8:1-25
Paul rebukes Simon the sorcerer when he attempts to buy the power of the Holy Ghost spirit out of envy. Paul uses a phrase in the gall of bitterness, intending it to make Simon aware of the depth of evilness, depravity and ungodliness he was acting in. And calling him to repent. Again we see here envy is a fruit of bitterness.

Salt Covenant Warfare & Prayers
Vicki Goforth Parnell 1-24-26
There is no retaliation, or evil actions and returns from the kingdom of darkness in all Father God’s knowledge and existence for this Salt Covenant Warfare & Prayers information that I am sharing. I bind the kingdom of darkness and all forms of attacks from occurring in Jesus Christ’s Name.
Covenant of Salt Verses:
2 Chronicles 13:5 Ought ye not to know that the Lord God of Israel gave the kingdom over Israel to David for ever, even to him and to his sons by a covenant of salt?
Leviticus 2:13 And every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.
Numbers 18:19 All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer unto the Lord, have I given thee, and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: it is a covenant of salt for ever before the Lord unto thee and to thy seed with thee.

What is a Covenant of Salt?
The meaning of a salt covenant is an agreement that is meant to endure regardless of the circumstances. It was an ancient symbol of unbreakable friendships and alliances that were to be preserved. In ancient times, salt wasn't just used for food. It was used to seal covenants. A covenant made with salt was a binding agreement, symbolizing something pure, enduring, and unbreakable.
Salt, in the Near East, was an expensive commodity that was considered indestructible in fire. Under ancient Israel's sacrificial system, it was a critical element in offerings made to the Lord. Its inclusion was mandatory for all offerings (Leviticus 2:13, Ezekiel 43:24), and without a doubt symbolizing the eternal and indestructible covenant God made with His people.
This mineral also impedes the action of yeast (leaven) on food. In the Word of God, leaven many times symbolizes sin and a rebellious attitude, as well as the ability to negatively influence others (1 Corinthians 5:7; Galatians 5:9). The inclusion of the mineral, therefore, can represent the preservation and maintenance of purity and holiness in a world that can cause corruption through sin.
Salt was a symbol to all that what was committed, could not be corrupted. In spiritual language, salt represented that which could not be defiled. When two parties would share salt during a covenant meal, it meant that betrayal would be met with judgment. That's why in divine agreements, salt was not optional. It was necessary. This is why God required salt in every offering brought to Him. It was more than flavor. It was spiritual integrity. It was a declaration that the one offering was in alignment with divine purity and would not mix holy things with the profane.
Salt separated. Salt preserved. Salt sanctified. Salt also speaks of preservation. Naturally, salt keeps things from decaying. Before refrigeration, salt was the primary tool to keep meat from spoiling.
In the spirit realm, this is what salt symbolizes in your life. When you live in alignment with God's order, when you walk in righteousness, your life becomes like salt, preserving what the enemy tries to destroy. The devil may try to attack your mind with fear, anxiety, or lust, but when you are aligned with Father God through Jesus Christ you are in a spiritual sense salted in the spirit, and in Jesus Christ’s Name the enemy’s attacks will fail.
You become preserved by the presence of God and the Blood of Jesus Christ that has redeemed you. You have the mind of Christ and have power over the enemy. You are sealed in this holy covenant. The salt represents the cleanliness and holiness found in your spirit that keeps you from rotting in bitterness, depression, or spiritual apathy. It keeps your discernment alive. That's why demons hate it. Salt is a symbol of separation. It draws a clear line between what is holy and what is defiled. In spiritual warfare, that line matters because witches and demonic spirits are looking for access points. They are looking for any way to gain an agreement, covenant, an access point in any area of the true believer’s life.
This is not superstition. This is warfare by wisdom. Get ready in the power of Jesus Christ to proceed as He leads. Salt is not just a seasoning. It is a spiritual symbol loaded with divine mystery and kingdom power. For too long, the people of God have underestimated what heaven has placed in their hands. Just like anointing oil represents the sweet Holy Ghost Spirit also called the Anointing in 1 John 2:27.
Salt may be natural in form, but it is deeply prophetic in meaning. When you understand the true spiritual significance of salt, you begin to see that what looks like a grain in the natural world is actually a symbol of holiness, covenant, and consecration in the spirit realm. And when used with faith, revelation, and obedience, salt becomes a prophetic weapon that breaks curses, repels evil, and restores divine alignment, because when applying or utilizing salt in a salt covenant you are reminding Father God of your covenant with Him and your promise to uphold your part of it with His help through Jesus Christ. When you are in a covenant with the God of all Heaven and His Son Jesus Christ the Word of God shows us Their faithfulness in upholding it.
Salt in Spiritual Warfare
Salt is one of the most underestimated weapons in spiritual warfare. It looks common, but in the kingdom, salt is a consecrated authority. It's not just mineral, it's a prophetic element. It represents purity, covenant, and preservation. Three things the demonic realm despises. While people in darkness chant spells, sacrifice animals, and place curses, many of the children of God are rising out of their slumber and beginning to fight in the spiritual battle before us. We do not belong to this world but to the Kingdom of God through His Son;s sacrifice and shed Blood. When a child of God rises up and operates under the direction of heaven, even the most common things become powerful. He takes the foolish things of the world to confound the wise it says in 1 Corinthians 1:27.
It’s not that salt itself holds any type of supernatural or spiritual power, it’s just that sometimes in spiritual warfare, you need a tangible point of contact to activate your faith and stand unwavering against the enemy’s assaults. Salt can be used as such a point of contact when praying, just like anointing oil is done at times also. When you hold salt in your hand while praying declarations or spiritual warfare verses, you are physically engaging with the spiritual truth. You are activating your faith with the Holy Word of God, but holding the physical salt as a point of contact that we as humans need sometimes. When the reality of what we are fighting at times gets blurred by attacks of doubt, unbelief, deception and other such trickery by the enemy hands, God will and can use something as simple as salt or anointing oil to activate our faith in His Power and Jesus Christ’s Name so we can be victorious. This is part of the power found in our Covenant with Father God.
Here are examples of prayers of decrees prayed when using salt in a Covenant with Father God and Jesus Christ.
*** Note: Please remember to repent, break any agreements and such like with the kingdom of darkness and pray against the enemy from retaliating before entering into any type of spiritual warfare in Jesus Christ's Name.
Job 22:28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
Remember, you are not praying to the salt. You are using the salt to remind Heaven and earth and to declare to hell that you are in a covenant. You are walking in purity. You are marked. The power is not in the salt. The power is in the Covenant, the agreement between Father God, Jesus Christ, you, your faith, your obedience, and the power found only in Jesus Christ and His Name.
Stand in your authority and decree out loud in Jesus Christ’s Name over your home:
I sanctify this threshold in the name of Jesus Christ. You can sprinkle small amounts of salt as the Holy Ghost Spirit leads in Jesus Christ’s Name. Every spirit of witchcraft, every curse, every unclean entity assigned to enter this home, I block you. You are forbidden to enter. This place is covered by the Blood of Jesus Christ and preserved and purified by a salt covenant with Heaven.
This house belongs to the Kingdom of God. Only the King of glory and what is holy may cross this line. (Psalms 24:7-10)
While holding the salt, speak these kinds of declarations.
Father, as this salt is pure, let my spirit be purified.
As this salt preserves in the natural, let your covenant preserve my household.
Let every word spoken against me, every monitoring eye, every satanic utterance be reversed and fall to the ground.
I stand under divine order in the authority of Jesus Christ.
I stand in alignment. No witchcraft shall prosper in my life.
No spirit shall manipulate me.
I sleep under divine protection.
The fire of God surrounds my mind and the angels of the Most High stand at my bedpost.
I cleanse this room from every curse, every spell, every whisper of darkness.
No demon shall dwell here.
No portal shall remain open.
Let fire and salt purify this environment.
Let holiness return.
Another example of praying and sprinkling salt in a salt covenant with Father God through Jesus Christ:
Lightly sprinkle a fine line of salt around the four corners of your bed. You don't pour mounds, just a symbolic perimeter. As you do, walk around it and declare:
This bed is holy ground.
I draw a line in the spirit.
No dream attack shall enter here.
No night demon, no incubus, no astral projection shall cross this line.
Let the fire of God encamp around this circle.
Let angels stand guard at each corner.
I sleep under the wings of the Most High. I decree and pray all this in Jesus Christ’s mighty Name. (Luke 10:19)
If you have children, do the same around their beds.
Speak life over them.
Cancel any generational curses that try to visit them in the night.
Declare that their rest will be sweet, guarded, and filled with revelation, not torment.
Walk your property and speak with authority that only comes through Jesus Christ. You’re not the tail, but the head. Declare over your home, your children, your threshold all that you possess these prayers and decrees. Use that salt not because you're desperate, but because you're informed. Speak the word not because you fear demons, but because you've been commissioned to establish light. You are of the Kingdom of darkness, not the dark kingdom of lucifer’s.
Lay hands on your walls.
Circle your bed.
Stand at your gate.
Declare out loud, "This ground is holy.
This house belongs to the Lord.
Every unclean spirit must go.
Every curse is broken.
Every monitoring spirit is blinded.
Every altar is silenced.
The blood of Jesus Christ speaks louder.
When you combine obedience, prayer, and kingdom insight, salt becomes a weapon hell cannot resist. When you engage in spiritual warfare with wisdom and divine strategy, you must also learn how to discern the results. Warfare is not just about fighting. It's about detecting shifts, interpreting signs, and recognizing when the enemy has been defeated. Just as a general watches the battlefield to know when the enemy line has broken, you too must develop discernment through the Holy Ghost Spirit and even physical discernment to know when your prayers and acts of faith like using salt, (That’s what it is, an act, a step of faith on our part.) have broken the curse, cleared the atmosphere, and turned the spiritual tide in your favor. Many people engage in warfare but lack the discernment to recognize victory. Again all we do is in the power of Jesus Christ’s name.
Precision, strategy, authority. Salt is not magic. It's a prophetic reminder. When you use it by faith and revelation, you're not performing a ritual. You're partnering with heaven's order.
Salt in the hands of a true child of God is now more than seasoning. It's more than mineral. It's a weapon, a boundary, a declaration of purity and preservation. A declaration of faith. A boundary you can see with your physical eyes but with all of Heaven backing it up when your life is pleasing and in accordance with the Word of God. For the child of God, the salt reminds you, I am a covenant child of the King." Don't ever treat what God has made sacred as common again. Even in the old covenant, God said, "Let your offerings be seasoned with salt." Why? Because salt reminded them that what was offered to God must be pure, preserved, and separate from defilement. That same principle stands now. The salt you use in this warfare is not random.
It's a prophetic act that says, "My home, my space, my sleep, my gates are sanctified." You're not waiting for a miracle. You're walking in divine knowledge and authority. And I say to you boldly from this day forward, let the enemy, let their witchcraft fear you and the God inside you Jesus Christ that has already defeated the whole kingdom of darkness. (Colossians 2:15) Let demons, nephilim, fallen angels, astral jumpers and travelers and such like know your address is off limits. Let familiar spirits retreat the moment you step into a room. You are not passive. You are not weak. You are not forgotten. You are backed by holy angels. You ar eBlood bought & Redeemed by the King of kings Jesus Christ. You are sealed by a holy covenant with the God of Heaven. You call Him Father and God. You are walking in strategic knowledge given to God’s children, lest satan should have an advantage over us. So now we are not ignorant of his devices. (2 Corinthians 2:11)
Walk in your authority given to you through Jesus Christ. You have been given all power over the enemy's kingdom, so act like it. Speak like it. Pray like it. Walk like it. Don't apologize for your authority. Don't explain away your boldness or holiness in Him. The righteous are bold as a lion, and lions don't need permission to roar. So rise up children of God, holy warrior of the Kingdom of God. Rise up with wisdom. Rise up with discernment. Rise with faith and fire in your mouth. You were never meant to live under siege. You were born to take your dominion and authority to further the Kingdom of God. You are not defeated, but are an overcomer. You are more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ. From this day, the ground under your feet belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ. (Joshua 1:3) Every altar is dismantled. Every curse is broken. Every monitoring eye goes blind and every assignment of darkness returns to the sender through the power of Jesus Christ. All you have to do is believe….only believe in Him…Jesus Christ… Yeshua Ha’ Mashaiach who has done everything for you so you could be all this and more through Him. Rise up children of God. Rise up and prepare yourself because what's coming next is the sound of victory. What's coming next is the shift in your atmosphere. Your faith has spoken. The Word of God has been released and the spirit of the Lord God is moving.
Stay alert. Stay faithful, stay in the Word of God and stay in prayer.
Another prayer for a salt covenant example:
Father God, I come boldly before your throne through the Blood of the Lamb Jesus Christ Your Son that grants me access and for the revelation that you have given me concerning other ways to spiritually fight the enemy. I lift this salt before you, not as superstition, but as a sign, a prophetic weapon consecrated for spiritual warfare. Just as You called Your covenant people to season sacrifices with salt, I now set apart this salt by faith. In Jesus Christ’s Name, I declare it holy and declare it weaponized. I declare it surrendered for Your holy purposes. Let it carry the authority of Your Word, the sanctifying power of Your Holy Ghost Spirit, and the power and weight of Heaven within and behind it.
Now by the authority placed within me through the Name above all names Jesus Christ, I lift this salt and speak a divine charge over it. Every grain of this salt shall carry the fire of the Lord God who is a consuming fire. Let every grain shall be anointed with the power of Jesus Christ’s Name to break curses, dissolve demonic attachments, and purge the environment of every unclean spirit when used in faith. Let this salt become a line of demarcation that hell cannot cross. Let it become a purifying agent that sanctifies my home, my mind, my sleep, my children, my bloodline, and my destiny. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I bind every witchcraft attack that has been sent against my life. I decree that no incantation, no spell, no monitoring eye, no altar of darkness, no word curse, and no demonic projection shall prosper against me. I reverse every assignment now by fire and the Name of Jesus Christ. As I sprinkle this salt across my home, at the doors, the windows, the mirrors, the corners, the closets, the gate posts, the beds and such like, I decree this entire dwelling is sealed under the authority of Heaven in Jesus Christ’s Name.
I speak to every lingering spirit, your time is up. I break your hold, I bind you and I command you to flee in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Every evil covenant connected to this ground is now destroyed. Every portal opened by sin, by witchcraft, or by ancestral rituals, by agreements and such like known or unknown to me is now closed by the Blood of Jesus Christ and fire of God. I command all residue of darkness to be uprooted and burned by holy fire. Let every cursed object lose its power. Let every demonic signature and mark be erased. Let every marine spirit retreat. Let every altar be shattered. Let every demonic voice be silenced in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Now, Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ I invite You to take full possession of this space. Let Heaven’s angels of war patrol every threshold, every access or entry point. Let Your consuming fire burn in every room. Let the sound of worship replace the sound of warfare. Let the oil of peace flood every corner.
I decree that this home is now a sanctuary for Father God, Jesus Christ and the sweet Holy Ghost Spirit. No nightmares, no intrusions, no whispers in the night, no spiritual heaviness, no unexplainable tension, no fear, no anxiety, no oppression, or such like can abide here because this atmosphere is charged with the glory of the Lord God Almighty. This is holy ground. I now declare over my life, I'm covered, I'm protected, I'm victorious. I cancel every cycle of spiritual harassment and every generational curse in Jesus Christ’s Name in all Father God’s knowledge and existence.
Now I speak to every unclean spirit in hiding, Luke 8:17…you are uncovered. I remove your legal rights, I bind you, I banish you and I declare that your influence is over in Jesus Christ’s Name. Let every familiar spirit lose its voice. Let every spiritual parasite be disconnected. I renounce all contact with darkness, whether known or unknown, inherited or introduced through dreams, relationships, or objects. I stand under the blood covenant of my King Jesus Christ and declare, I am not a victim. I am not a target. I am a threat to the kingdom of darkness and from this day forward, no weapon formed against me shall prosper.
I speak over this salt. Wherever it touches, the enemy shall retreat. Wherever it falls, the Spirit of God shall reign. Wherever it is sprinkled, holy angelic forces shall surround. This is not mere salt. It is now sanctified particles in my hands, and upon the ground making it holy. I command divine order, holy alignment, and prophetic protection to enter this atmosphere now. Let confusion strike every demonic camp sent against me. Let blindness hit every monitoring agent. Let holy chaos scatter every evil plan. Let Heaven's gavel render judgment against every witchcraft operation linked to my name, family’s, the ministry and such like in Heaven’s Court in Jesus Christ’s Name.
In the mighty Name of the King of kings, Jesus Christ I send every arrow of witchcraft back to the sender. I break the spells, I block the curses, I close the doors and access points, I bind the strong man, I take my power back I have in Jesus Christ. I reclaim my joy. I take possession of my home, my health, my purpose, my finances, and my time. I decree, this house belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ. My life is a testimony. My space is protected. My destiny is preserved. I thank You, Lord, for the power you've given me. Thank You for the wisdom to fight back. Thank You for holy discernment and for sanctifying what is simple and making it spiritual. Thank You for showing me that even salt, something so small, can become a kingdom weapon in the hand of the righteous. I receive the fullness of Your protection, Your favor, and Your rest from this day forward. Let Your Kingdom come and let Your will be done in my home, in my family, and in my atmosphere as it is in Heaven Father God. I seal this prayer in fire and in truth in the Name of Jesus Christ. So let it be done.

The Blood of Jesus Christ in Spiritual Warfare 9-16-25
Vicki Goforth Parnell
There are many things that the kingdom of darkness uses to intimidate God's people, but there
is one thing that witches, sorcerers, demonic powers, fallen angels and every agent of hell cannot stand. That is the blood of Jesus Christ. It is the divine protection and even a weapon of God Himself placed in the hands of His children. It is eternal, indestructible, infallible and unchallengeable.
The enemy like witches and such like may use charms, spells, familiar spirits and incantations. They may invoke the names of their idols, the demons and fallen ones and whisper enchantments in the night, but when the Blood of Jesus Christ is invoked, everything else must bow. So it is with His Name.
Do you know why the enemy fear the Blood of Jesus Christ? Because His Blood is a legal weapon in the spirit. The Blood of Jesus Christ carries authority in the Courts of Heaven and the spirit realm. Every battle that is fought between God's kingdom of light and Lucifer's kingdom of darkness is not just physical or spiritual, but it is legal.
The devil…satan… the accuser of the brethren…the brethren meaning the children of God in Revelation 12:9-10 brings accusations that are brought before God to condemn, to destroy, to claim lives. But the blood of Jesus Chrst applied to His child’s life is the evidence that cancels every accusation. When His Blood speaks for them, every curse is silenced. When the Blood testifies, every witchcraft and kingdom of darkness case is dismissed.
In the Old Testament, when Israel was in Egypt, God instructed the Israelites to take the blood of a lamb and put it on the doorposts in Exodus 12:7. He said, “When I see the blood, I will pass
over you,” in Exodus 12:13. That was not a religious act, it was an act of faith and trust administered in spiritual warfare. The destroyer was released over the land, but the lamb’s blood became the shield. It became the protective barrier for the children of Israel. That was only the blood of a lamb. How much more powerful is the Blood of the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world?
The kingdom of darkness with its human against and witches fear the Blood of Jesus Christ because His Blood represents our covenant of grace between God and man. A covenant which is stronger than a contract, deeper than a promise, greater than an agreement. A covenant means a life for life, and blood for blood. When Jesus Christ shed His Blood, He signed an eternal
covenant that cannot be broken by anything or anyone. It’s all-powerful like His Name, like every part of Jesus Christ was and still is.
Witches, human agents and such like understand covenants because they make blood covenants with demons. But when they see the Blood of Jesus Christ, they know they are facing a covenant they cannot challenge. That is why they tremble when you plead or invoke the Blood of Jesus Christ over your life, your family and circumstances. They tremble and flee when they see the Lamb’s Blood applied over your dwelling that they cannot pass through because it’s been applied in holy remembrance of the Lord Jesus Christ’s death through the taking of communion.
Demons and devils are not afraid of your shouting, they are not afraid of your emotions. They are not afraid of your church attendance. But they are terrified of the blood, because the blood of Jesus Christ is a reminder of their defeat. The cross was not a religious event, it was a battlefield. On that cross, Jesus Christ disarmed principalities and powers, making a public show of them as Colossians 2:15 tells us plainly in the Word of God. The Blood of Jesus Christ became the seal of victory. Every drop declared, “It is finished, victory has been won and given to His children.” The cross and the shed Blood of Jesus Christ is the point and constant reminder where the kingdom of darkness was forever defeated by Jesus Christ.
The kingdom of darkness, lucifer and witches know that once you understand this, their power is broken. Their strongholds are removed. It protects, meaning the Blood forms a hedge around your life, your family, and your home. Such as the blood in our human bodies is made to protect us in different ways. The greatest tragedy in our warfare is not that the enemy and their witches are powerful. The tragedy is that many believers are ignorant and under a veil of misconception and deception. Jesus Christ’s Blood is one of the greatest weapons a child of God has, but if you don't use it, it cannot work for you.
Many Christians are still running from witchcraft attacks that come from nightmares, from curses, from voices in the night. They cry and complain, yet the Blood has been made available to all His children. Revelation 12:11 says, “ And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
When you're in a spiritual battle, a battlefield, you do not beg darkness and the kingdom of darkness’ forces of evil to leave, you enforce the victory of the Blood through the Name and authority in Jesus Christ. James 4;7 says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Resisting means to put up a fight, not stay complacent and unmoving. It’s a war, a battlefield we’re in.
What does the Blood of Jesus Christ do? Many things but here are 3. The Blood redeems, it cleanses, and it protects. Redemption means the Blood paid the price for your freedom. Cleanses means the Blood washes away every legal ground the enemy could use against you. And again, it’s the hedge of protection around your family, home, yourself and such like.
In the kingdom of darkness witches and such like fear the Blood because once it covers you, their arrows cannot penetrate, their curses cannot land, their projections cannot manifest. Every witch knows the power of a sacrifice. This is why they slaughter animals, spill blood, and make offerings in the night, but these are just counterfeits of the real sacrifice. The Blood of Jesus Christ is the ultimate sacrifice. We know this from Hebrews 9:26-28;10:12; 14; Ephesians 5:12; & Mark 10:45 to name a few verses. Once and for all, His Blood was offered on the altar of Heaven. No other sacrifice can compete with it. Nor can any other redeem us. Witches know that the moment you understand the true power of Jesus Christ’ Blood and stand under it, their sacrifices are rendered powerless.
Spiritual warfare is incomplete without applying the Blood of Jesus Christ to every aspect. It is after all Jesus Christ Himself and we fight our battles through Him by His Name given to us.
It’s a fact that many believers are ignorant in many ways how the enemy operates or how to war spiritually through Jesus Christ. The church has failed to teach how to do so.
This is why prayer without including the Blood of Jesus Christ can be incomplete. Cover yourself in His when fasting, praying, preaching, teaching whatever you are doing. Pleading the Blood of Jesus Christ is making a request for its covering and protection. Apply the Blood of Jesus Christ and decree it as Job 22:28 says over your children, your sleep, your home, your possessions, everything that relates to you directly, indirectly or randomly in all Father God’s knowledge and understanding. Wherever the holy Blood is applied, the enemy…witches and such like cannot operate.
How powerful does the Blood speak? The book of Hebrews says the Blood of Jesus Christ speaks better things than the blood of Abel. Abel's blood cried for vengeance, but our Savior’s Blood cries for mercy, for protection and for deliverance. Witches, sorcerers, and such like hear voices in the spirit, but when you release the Blood, they hear a voice louder than every witchcraft ritual spoken or any curse or enchantment. They hear a decree that cannot be overridden. The Blood of Jesus Christ is not just written words in our Holy Bible, it’s sacred, holy, powerful and invincible. It’s the Blood of God that was placed in the flesh of a man to redeem a whole world.
When you stand under the Blood of Jesus Christ, every curse is broken. When you declare His Blood in Jesus Christ’s Name, every hidden altar is destroyed. When you trust in its power, every demonic attack loses its power. This is something we must never forget. There’s power in His Blood for victory and not just redemption and the power found in His Name alone.
The enemy, especially witches, fear the Blood of Jesus Christ because through His Blood, their authority is canceled, their curses are neutralized, their covenants are broken, their weapons are destroyed. Do not fear the enemy. Jesus Christ has already defeated them. Stand in the power of His might, His Name, His Blood and His authority, the authority of Jesus Christ and let them fear you. Do not run from them. Let them flee from you, from Jesus Christ living inside of you. The Blood is your guarantee of victory because the Word says we are made overcomers by it and the word of our testimony in Revelation 12:11. The Word of God cannot be broken. (John 10:35)
The Blood is your shield, your weapon, your covering. Do not tremble when the enemy attacks. Stand boldly and declare, by the blood of Jesus Christ and in His Name, I shall overcome. By the Blood of Jesus Christ, I am protected, my family is protected. By the blood of Jesus Christ I decree every witchcraft power is broken. (Job 22:28; Luke 10:19) Do this in unwavering faith. Then watch how the forces of darkness scatter, because the kingdom of darkness fears nothing more than the Blood of Jesus Christ. The most powerful weapon against darkness, because it’s the moment Jesus Christ shed His blood and died for us that complete and utter victory became ours.
One of the greatest strategies of the enemy is to keep you ignorant of the power of the Blood of Jesus Christ and what it has done for us. He knows if you ever discover the full power of His Blood, you will walk in a level, a dimension of authority that witches and human agents even some demons cannot challenge. That's why the devil distracts believers with rituals, ceremonies, and empty religion trying to cause fear, discouragement, deception, uses trickery, manipulation and other such like. The kingdom of darkness understands the significance of blood. They know blood is life. The Bible says the life of all flesh is in its blood. That means whenever blood is shed, life is exchanged. Witches and such like will shed blood in sacrifices, because they understand that blood attracts spirits. But the Blood of Jesus Christ does more. It not only attracts Heaven, it commands Heaven to respond. It speaks directly to the throne of God. When witches shed blood, demons respond, but when you pray, you speak, you invoke the Blood of Jesus Christ, holy angels respond. Heaven moves, the throne is engaged, the kingdom of God will manifest on your behalf. That's why witches, nephilim and human agents cannot stand the Blood of Jesus Christ. Demons and fallen angels can’t stand the Blood of Jesus Christ. It is a constant reminder of their eternal defeat. In Revelation, the saints overcame the enemy by two things, by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. Notice, it didn’t say, by their fasting, though fasting is important. Or through their tears, though tears may flow. It is said by the Blood and by the word in Revelation 12:11.
The Blood of Jesus Christ is our foundation of victory. The word of testimony is our declaration of that victory. That is spiritual warfare. We don't beg the devil to leave. We enforce what has already been finished for us in Jesus Christ..

The Battlefield is the Mind. Who Are You Listening To? 3-9-26
Vicki Goforth Parnell
For the glory of Father God in Heaven and my brothers & sisters in Jesus Christ.
For those of you who have been battling spiritually with the devil whispering in your ears. speaking lies and truth with deception, I ask you this. Why? Why let him? Why allow the kingdom of darkness with their demons and devils, their woohoo wahoo witchcraft garage to take a hold on your life? Why listen to their stinky thinking?
Do you not realize that when you allow yourself to listen to the enemy you have also allowed yourself to become a willing participant to the conversation they just started with you? What this means in the spiritual laws for this earth created in Heaven is you have formed an agreement with the kingdom of darkness, which gives them a legal right to continue to attack you.
I ask again why? When you have been given all power over lu lu…lucifer and the whole stinking kingdom of darkness. Every battle begins in the mind. This is whereas good soldiers, warriors in the Lord Jesus Christ we are told to tear down all strongholds. We are told to cast down all vain imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself…lifts itself up against the knowledge of God. Understand this, part of the knowledge of God given His children is the Word of God. So cast down everything that is contrary to the Holy, Mighty Word of God. Think of what’s pure and lovely and let this mind of Christ be in you.
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Ephesians 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
1 Corinthians 2: 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
How do you defeat the enemy in this battle field? How do you do this?
-
Repent and break any agreements with the kingdom of darkness you have made knowingly or unknowingly in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Proverbs 26:2 As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.
-
Don’t listen, even when the enemy is persistent. Keep rebuking and resisting Him. If you have bound the enemy and it appears he is still there, then this means you either have an agreement with him and/or the enemy has sent more than one demon to attack you with the same thoughts. Lu lu always sends them out in groups of 2 or more. An agreement or such like is a stronghold being built or has already been built in your life.
James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Ephesians 4:27 Neither give place to the devil.
-
Begin tearing down the strongholds being formed or that have been formed against you already. Take every thought captive if it’s from the enemy and bind it. Bind any thoughts, which are how the attacks are being made in your mind through demons sent out by witchcraft and such like. Understand… These attacks can also include manipulations of sound smell and such like to trigger the thoughts. After binding the demons, cancel any assignments and cut any cords that may hold them to the attack such as charms and such like then cast them into the abyss in everlasting chains. I usually then ask for them to be held there until the time they are thrown into the lake of fire and with grievous torments and heavy burdens but according to Father God’s perfect will. All done in the infallible, All-powerful Name of Jesus Christ, Yeshua Ha’ Mashiach.
Philippians 2:9-11
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Matthew 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Psalms 129:4 The Lord is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.
Psalms 107:14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
2 Corinthians 10:4-5
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Jude 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
-
Next, bind whatever evil spirit or spirits that are behind the attacks just sent out so that they cannot send out such like attacks again of this type of attack directly, indirectly or randomly in all Father God's knowledge and His existence. In addition, take the attacks (thoughts, smells and such like…all things used in the attack and bind them to the abyss too. Then bind them and lock them away forever in the abyss with the kingdom keys of Jesus Christ, of Heaven. How are we able to do this? Because Jesus Christ has all power and has given this power through His Name, Blood and His Holy Word to us so that we through Him have all power over the kingdom of darkness. This is the spiritual law inside this created firmament because God our Creator is a spirit. So spiritual law is always before and above anything inside the created firmament.
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Matthew 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Remember to cover yourself before entering into any form of spiritual warfare. Pray, decree and ask in Jesus Christ’s Name. Don’t forget to pray that there will not be allowed any retaliation from the kingdom of darkness in any way known to Father God and in all His existence because who the Son set free is free indeed. This lines up with the Holy Powerful Word of God. Then bind the kingdom of darkness from doing so but according to Father God’s perfect will on earth as it is in Heaven.
Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
John 14:13-14
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
Job 22:28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
Psalms 144:1 Blessed be the Lord my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:36 Whom the Son sets free, is free indeed.
A true believer of Jesus Christ who calls Him the Lord of their life needs to walk in faith without doubting, and in the reassurance of the power of the Word of God. When you do, then know that all of Heaven will pay attention and be on standby and all the devils and demons will tremble at the power of your God that lives inside you (James 2:19) when you operate fully in the authority of Jesus Christ, Yeshua Ha’ Mashiach’s Name. Father God in Heaven shall surely be honorbound to back up what you do, when you utilize it in faith the power of the truth of His Word, because He is truth. His Word cannot be broken and He is truth. No lies or deception can ever be found in Him because….He is holy, so holy!
Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
John 10:35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
Psalms 119:160 Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
James 1:5-8
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
Hebrews 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
